ESCKAZ.

| Tested on ourselves! ESCKAZ is known for its unexpected decisions
and critical materials, and quite spontaneously at this time we came to an idea to test
ourselves in the participation in the national final for Eurovision 2011, and an ideal
opportunity to do so were the castings for the preselection to the contest in Ukraine. Our star is young vocalist and guitarist Valeria Kuzmenko, also one of the part-time correspondents of ESCKAZ. Despite the fact that as a child she really wanted to learn to sing, none of the teachers were ready to work with her, neither believed in her talents her parents, not allowing her to practice music, but at the end Valeria went to the school class of vocal and gained first skills in art there continuing after this to achive everything herself. She is very grateful to those who believed in her and her strength and as she says - "Participation in the casting for Eurovision is an opportunity to get valuable experience, to perform on a large professional stage, observe the works of experienced artists and gain valuable advice. To achieve my objectives I should be working hard, and it is only the first step". However, at the very beginning of the road we have discovered an unpleasant surprise. The national selection regulations, which have finally been published in details, a couple of weeks later after the press conference about it took place, have demanded in a completed form immediately two songs with the performance rights - a song for the audition, and already finished recording of the songs for the contest itself, that has never been publically performed before. Unfortunately, time was not allowing us to record the potential Eurovision entry by August 19th, despite the fact that we've already had agreements with the possible songwriters, so at the moment it seemed that our project will die, without even been born. But the creators of the rules of the Ukrainian selection continued tossing surprises, and one of them was pleasant (although as it turned out in the end, the only one). On August 5th NTU removes the requirement to present by the time of casting already finished song for Eurovision. Only selected semi-finalists will have to submit it in the period before October 1st. However, all rules towards the entry to be performed at the castings (ie, permission for the song performance) were remaining in force. It's just is two weeks before the preselection - there is a desire, but no song with the permission! Realizing that the permission for performance of already well rehearsed in other auditions song of Tina Karol "Do not worry" will not appear as of sudden we had to begin searching for other options. In the end, after lengthy correspondences by 10th of August at our hands were permissions from Diana Gurtskaya and her songwriters for the performance of a song "Mir pridyot" (Russian version of "Peace Will Come") and Vladimir Graic for the performance of the Russian version of Eurovision 2007 winner "Molitva" with my lyrics. After much hesitation, we have decided to sing entirely in Russian and not partly in English, because it would be rather difficult to set the English pronunciation with such a short time left. Sadly, both songs weren't ideally suiting the timbre of Valeria, but considering that till the casting was left just a little more than a week - there was no time to look for other songs and other permissions. The process of preparations starts but is unexpectedly shadowed by the serious leg injury of our singer, that has put the entire trip in danger. But she is brave enough to proceed despite pain and the project continues! Next on the schedule is the completion of the questionnaire and application form. Jointly we've prepared a nice application with the answers to tricky questions about what parents most often were angry with you for, what you will be able to do to achieve victory at Eurovision, and what differentiates you from others? "The main thing is to remains myself, and not be part of the crowd. To work hard in order to achieve goals, rather than be waiting until the fortune cames to me out of nowhere. I think I differ from other people with my resistance, and this is often noted by my friends, that I'm persistent in achieving my goals. I'm sure that everything that I intended in my life - I can do it! I believe that I am the very best in the whole world! It's impossible to convince others to what you do not believe yourself. I try to be sincere in my feelings, whatever they are: love, friendship, devotion and faith. Sincerity is a part of human nature, which is important not only in life but also in the work. After all, on the stage singer can conquer the people hearts first of all with his sincerity. I hope that other people appreciate this quality in me too". On 12th of August another surprise comes from the organizers - they are unexpectedly removing the requirement of the permission for the performance, and now any song of Ukrainian songwriters can be performed. All the changes are published in the News section on the site of the National Pershiy channel and to track the developments is rather difficult, because in the actual text of the rules changes are not made. In any case, there is no time to change the song anymore and everything remains on the previously developed plan. Casting takes place in Kiev and applicants from other cities have to be there for three days from 19 to 21 August. So, we go on the train / plane and are on the way! After arrival in Kiev and visit to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra to get some luck, on our plan was to listen to some advice from the veteran. As such was elected Sergei Gavrilov, the former lead singer of band Igrushki and solo artist, finalist of the national selection in 2005, whose song "Ships" was awarded by our site ESCKAZ as best song of the national finals that year. A meeting with him lasted three hours, and indeed, was very useful: "If you wish to sing - do it! Just relax and sing! But well rehearse before that. And even if they will say you that everything is bad - it's not the end of life. Approach to this performance as to the psychological training, a struggle with your fears that you must win. And if you're afraid - don't do this then! But you should understand what is your goal - just to have some fun or to do something else? Show business is money and this money can not be earned with the performances. Best case is if if you have rich friends or relatives. Otherwise, success now in our entertainment business just by the talent, image, vocals is impossible, except that it would be Whitney Houston, Mariah Carrey, Tom Jones combined, but there are no such singers in Ukraine. If you like music - look for something close to it, not the actual stage, but something related". The last several hours of long rehearsals in the hotel room, last work with stylist (the role played by myself) and the day and hour "X" have come. Having arrived to the casting as defined in the regulations at 10am to the planned start of registration, no signs of it was found by us. It was said that registration may begin at 11, and the casting then would come at noon. Also rather unpleasant thing was taking place right at the entrance to Olmega Plage - the removal of any type of soft drinks by our beloved Ukrainian security staff. And 0.5-liter regular mineral water on the beach was worth 2.5 euros. Well, one must somehow work out the lease of premises? By the noon registration has finally started, all the performers were given some number (not clear how it was determined) and told the order of presentations. They have been also required to sign two agreements - for permission to use their image and appearance on TV and publishing agreement for permission to use the song. However, documents haven't been signed at that moment by anyone from the NTU side and no second copy has been given to the hand of contestants. No start of casting at the noon was observed, and seeing that it is delayed, we went to the edge of the beach to rehearse. Use of the shells and sun loungers by contestants was strictly forbidden, and so we took the chairs, and tried to benefit from the fact that for the first half-day weather was good enough to sunbathe and rehearse. As a result, the performances have finally started at 2 pm. The process of casting itself, as it seemed, was organized pretty well. Good scene with a rather good sound for the open space, posters of the contest everywhere, an opportunity for the press to shoot video and take photos of the contestants. Excellent hosts, working on stage and in greenroom: Timur Miroshnichenko, Igor Posypayko and Tatiana Goncharova. In addition to the hosts and jury there were present two experts - Tatiana Piskareva and Dmitry Kotelenets who have been seated in another tent and were giving their comments on what is happening. However, at once it became clear that not all participants will be provided with the same conditions. Thus, immediately was promoted in the order Vitaly Galay, on what it was said that he would be filmed by cameras of the channel from which talents show he has graduated, and these cameras must be urgently released after that. Just started, the castings has took a half hour break (after 15 participants from about 50 applications on a first day). Eventually this break however lasted for two hours. According to unconfirmed reports, discussed by everyone present at the show, a delay occurred due to the fact that one of the distinguished female representatives of the jury wished to change her dress. Resumed casting went on the same principle, "all are equal - but someone is more equal than the others". So, on the schedule with everyone else were waiting GODO, Alina Trigub, Irina Fedyshyn, Mira Gold, Zlata Ognevich, Arina Domski. And outside the queue and lists have appeared Anastasia Prikhodko, Ivanna Melay, Myata, Shanis and Shanti. About the latter, I must apologize, but besides the fact that she has immediately stated that she does not speak Ukrainian, and questions to her should come in Russian only - she just does not know how to sing at all! In this case, for me personally was shocking enthusiastic reaction of the jury, praising her performance, her appearance, vocals and her song. For me, this moment was the peak of negative emotions derived from the casting. The mood, like the weather, has been spoiling quickly. It became very cold, rain has started pouring, as it took place in an open tent it became extremely windy. Artists, waiting for their turn in the stage costumes, as we also, have been chilled from head to toe. The jury was unruffled. No explanation for disruption in the schedule, but in response to the timid question of one of the singers - it was said, you're not an artist, an artist must wait for his turn for 24 hours in any weather, to stand there and wait to be called. As a result, despite the fact that the singer was at this casting almost the best performer - the jury has struck off her from the list of semifinalists. Seeing these examples, to be honest, we have completely lost the desire to take part in what was happening. The only positive aspect was the interview that we gave to news channel 24, though at the end only one phrase was aired, but it was still nice. Waiting for our turn in the end lasted from 10am to 7 pm, and apart from jim-jams, which have affected our debuting singer despite the warnings of our expert, the delay of casting, inadequate assessments of the jury and passages without waiting in line, almost led to the withdrawal of our application. Performance eventually took place, but to say about it separately, unfortunately, nothing is possible. In addition, it was far from the real possibilities of our singer, and although we are happy that we thanked by the jury for the courage to take part in auditions, for the next year we will try to prepare better, but until then we take the blame for failure solely on ourselves. Even though we failed to succeed in the performance, there hardly was anyone who could be compared to our contestant in beauty department! Actually, it was surprising to see that articles on the site of Pershiy channel have been inviting to the casting all comers to try their strength. As it turned out in the end, it was not entirely true, as since the second day of jury fundamentally and strongly discouraged such persons from entering the stage, or have been interrupting their singing, saying they are only waiting for experienced performers. How can this correlate with the statements of jury head Walid Arfush "For Eurovision we are looking for nugget from the village?" Incidentally, there hardly have been any freaks, apart from Denis Povaliy who have reached the final, Pope NotRoman and a couple of chanson singers. In a total auditions have been attended by some 120 participants. Criteria that have guided the jury selection personally for me had remained unclear. "First of all - vocal abilities! And all the rest - the song, image, show - you can come up with it later", said in the same interview Mr.Arfush. However, from the jury in the hall we heard mostly comments on the style - You don't stand right; What are you wearing as if you've just came from the street?; Your backing dancers are boring and outdated; And why you have such a sad song? - On the last point it should be mentioned specifically - it seemed that the jury has been hating all the ballads, as well as any songs not in Eurovision format - the jury apparently was not ready to work solely on the basis of assessment of vocal potential of competitors. The jury was made of: Walid Arfush, Vlad Baginsky, Ruslana Pysanka, Julia Magdych, Anton Tseslik as well as Igor Lihuta and Kamalia (during the first day). In the process of casting, I have noticed several violations of its rules: 1) According to the rules deadline for submission is 19th of August, but at the casting were several performers that have simply came in the second day - August 20th, many of the participants did not provide a package of documents and did not fill out questionnaires 2) As it turned out, each performer (and the songwriters) must still sign the contract for performance of the song. How does it correspond to the previously permitted performance of songs by Ukrainian authors without written permission is not clear. The agreement required to fill in passport details of songwriters. 3) In the end the stage has been entered by the girl with the song of Garbage "The World Is Not Enough" and the other girl to do a song a cappella, without a soundtrack. Explanations on this subject from the organizers of the casting could not be obtained. 4) According to the rules in the casting are eligible to participate only citizens of Ukraine, but the selection was attended by at least some citizen of Russia and Estonia. 5) Not to mention the fact that the rules indicate the possibility to bring recording on DVD, but those who has done it were forced to go to rewrite discs. But a rule saying that the contestants are not eligible to participate in other television projects in parallel with the ESC has been thoroughly observed. The jury claimed that Vladimir Tkachenko is taking currently part in X-Factor, and have not allowed him to enter second stage of the preselection. After the second day the weather got much worse, the jury had to sit all day wrapped in blankets and drinking hot tea or coffee, and it was finally decided that the second part of the casting set for Saturday should be canceled, all entrants to perform on Friday and semi-finalists should be selected on the basis of only one listening, no second round. As a result, the jury chose the 35 semifinalists, pointing out that someone may eventually withdraw from the contest himself, or will not have time to prepare his song. The question is relevant - for the moment coming to potential Eurovision entries, in my opinion, the rules are absolutely not thought through, for example what would happen if someone brought the song that appears to be illegitimate? We at the auditions have created an idea of the bail of 500 euros, which will not be returned if a song submitted to the competition breaks the rules, in which case it would go in favor of the winner of preselection. It is high time to punish the ignorance and unwillingness to get acquainted with the rules by paying from the pocket. Whom would I have noted from the participants myself? They literally can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Discovery for me was Alexander Kvarta that really has lit up the room, prompting a storm of applause and even a line for autographs from the imperturbable security guards - and still has remained easy in communication, attended a casting alone and was getting together with me on the subway. Very well performed Zlata Ognevich, Irina Fedyshyn, Alina Trigub, Anna Sergeevna and hard-rock band Listopad. To the semifinal proceeded the following artists: Verka Serduchka, Jamala, the group "Zaklyopki", Anastasia Prikhodko, Zlata Ognevich, the group "Armia", Ivan Berezovsky, Arina Domski, Vitaly Galay, the group "Metropolitan", Maxim Novitsky, the group "Neksi", Shanis, Shanti, Elena Korneeva, Yakov Smirnov, Alexander Kvarta, the group "Daha Braha", Inna Voronova, Eduard Romanyuta, Mika Newton, The group "Bahroma", Denis Povaliy, DASH, Natalia Pugachova, Masha Sobko, duet "Para Normalnyh", Alexey Mathias, Mila Nitich, Tatiana Vorzheva, El Kravchuk, Valentin Levitsky, Daria Medovaya, the group "VRODA", Kristina Kim. Broadcasts of castings will take place in September, and qualifying round with new songs will begin in October. We would like to thank you for the assistance in participation in the casting regular ESC host and commentator Timur Miroshnichenko, as well as the head of the delegation of Ukraine at the Eurovision Victoria Romanova. We apologize, in fact, for stressing some negative aspects of this event, we just hope that these issues will be addressed in the future and next year's preselection for the competition will be held at the best level. Also at the end of the material, I would like to congratulate our singer Valeria with her Birthday! I wish you implementations of what you wrote in the questionnaire to a question about your dream: "Just to be happy. To reach the level when others will understand my thoughts and take you as you are. To be with a man that is close to me, to feel his constant presence and support, and support him in return. To have a strong family, grow up children. And to be free to do what I want the most myself". |

No participation for Kazakhstan in Eurovision 2011 and in the nearest future. The ongoing rumour connected with possible participation of Kazakhstan in the Eurovision Song Contest has started all over again after Eurovision 2010 in Norway has been completed. It has been known that one of the national broadcasters "Khabar" has been legally broadcasting the contest in 2008 and 2009 and in 2010 has renewed it's broadcasting agreement for 3 more years. In January 2010 chairman of Committee on information and archives of Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Omarov has stated to the Kazakhstan press that: "In order to investigate the question of possible membership of JSC "Khabar Agency" in the European Broadcasting Union an application has been submitted which was followed by the meeting with the legal department of the EBU. According to the negotiations European Broadcasting Union has agreed to accept membership application of Khabar agency, which will be considered by General Assembly of EBU in 2010". Later, the statement from the Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed, Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan himself was issued on his official blog, stating that: "Undoubtedly, the admission of Kazakh broadcasting company into the European Broadcasting Union would play a big role in the development of domestic television and radio. First of all, it would allow sharing of best practices in the field of television, access to new programs and technologies. However, this project requires the best technical equipment and large financial investments. The Ministry plans to carry out the corresponding work with JSC "Arna-Media" ("Khabar" and "El Arna" channels are members of "Arna-Media" network). In a suprising interview to Ukrainian site E-Motion on June 22nd Ukrainian singer and Eurovision 2009 entrant Svetlana Loboda has sparkled debates on Kazakhstan participation again saying: "Soon, we're going to Kazakstan capital Astana, where the concert devoted to the next years debut of Kazakhstan in Eurovision will be held. President himself wants me to help local entrant in preparations and to share my experience". However, we remind you that already in 2009 the issue of Kazakhstan membership in EBU has been clearly addressed by EurovisionTV director Bjorn Erichsen. Speaking at the EBU press-conference in May 2009 in Moscow, Mr.Erichsen stated that Kazakhstan is not eligible for the admission to full membership of the European Broadcasting Union due to it's geographical location. It is not the first time Kazakhstani media are starting
rumours connected with participation of the country in the contest. Other examples are as
following: To stop once and for all question on possible Kazakhstan admission to EBU and Eurovision participation ESCKAZ has requested official comment from EurovisionTV acting director Joergen Franck and it's Legal Department. Here is the answer received: We remind you that in 1999, Kazakhstan applied for observer status at the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly. The official response of the Assembly was that Kazakhstan could apply for full membership, because it is partially located in Europe, but that they would not be granted any status whatsoever at the Council until their democracy and human rights records improved. So, for the moment, Kazakhstan viewers can enjoy broadcasts of the show on "El Arna" channel, with excellent commentary of Roman Raifeld and hope that someday Republic can join Council of Europe. TV rating of the broadcast of the show in Kazakhstan
according to TNS Central Asia data were as following: ESCKAZ has also learned that despite EBU makes no formal announcements about broadcasters' applications to join the Union except when a new Member is formally admitted by General Assembly - NO single membership application have been submitted for decision by the General Assembly at its session next week in Azerbaijan and next session is scheduled only for December, after application deadline for Eurovision 2011 will pass. Thus, at this moment, before any new broadcasters are officially admitted to the Union as full members the information regarding possible participation in Eurovision 2011 Liechtensteini channel 1FL, Belarusian ONT and other broadcasters should be considered as rumours. Hungarian Duna TV is already an associate member of the Union and may apply to full membership on a later date. |

has wraped up it's Eurovision 2010 coverage. During the summer and autumn time we will be
concentrating on coverage of other EBU product: Junior
Eurovision Song Contest, as the only non-official website professionally dealing with

In case of important news regarding organization of Eurovision 2011 in Germany, we will also update you. | As
usual, every year during the period between national selections and before the beginning
of Euroweek fan polls and charts are launched, trying to determine preliminary Eurovision
favourites. Traditionally, after preview parties where fans can listen to the
participating entries and watch their music videos or live performances, official
Eurovision Contest fan clubs (OGAE) are voting as well. Currently, there are around 40
national OGAE clubs. Created in 2003 and officially accepted in the network in 2007 OGAE Rest of the World club includes fans of Eurovision
contest who live in non-participating countries or countries that currently do not have
own official OGAE clubs. Despite more than 100 OGAE Rest of the World members live in
almost all continents, exept for Antarctics, every year club also conducts it's members
voting to determine it's favourites. The winner of this voting are being awarded by the
special prize "Dombyra Award". In previous years winners of this award were
Eirikur Hauksson from Iceland (2007), Ruslan Alehno from Belarus (2008) and Sasha Son(g)
from Lithuania (2009). This year, the voting of the club has produced the following outcome: 12 Romania 10 Switzerland 8 Germany 7 Turkey 6 Moldova 5 Macedonia 4 Israel 3 Armenia 2 Latvia 1 Poland "We think that our club voting can represent well the hit potential of the entries on the market different to European one. However, as Romanian entry was a run away favourite in the vote beating the rest with the huge margin, we also believe that "Playing With Fire" is one of the favourites for Eurovision victory itself. Additionally, as currently there is no official OGAE club in Romania, we're happy to present a prize to the country within OGAE Rest of the World borders", says OGAE Rest of the World vice-president Andy Mikheev, adding that prize will be handled to Paula Seling and Ovi by ESCKAZ team member during one of the press-conferences in Oslo. |

| Azerbaijan entrant Safura is spending the Labour
Day weekend on a swift promotional tour
through Germany. During the short period of time between the 1st and 3rd May, the
Azerbaijani artist will literally cross the country from end to end, zigzagging between
Munich, Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg. Safura's days are an intense mix of various
promotional activities, including interviews, photo shoots, live appearances and unplugged
performances. She will give interviews to DPA, Berliner Zeitung, Welt am Sonntag and
appear in the shows of BLR, RPR 1 and RBB 88,8 radio stations, to name just a few. Germany
is just one of the stops on Safura's acclaimed journey "to rock Europe". Later
this week, Safura will go also to the Netherlands and Belgium. Earlier, Safura’s Drip Drop music video was released. The international team that produced the music video included director Rupert Wainwright, choreographer JaQuel Knight and stylist Tanya Gill. Knight is currently working on creating Safura’s stage act based on the dance arrangement that the viewers will see in the video. However, the final composition is treated as somewhat of a sacred dance and will not be known before Safura goes on the Eurovision stage in Oslo. |
DPA, Berliner Zeitung, Welt am
Drip Drop. | After
victory at the national final in Armenia
Eva Rivas and her team are continuing to work hard for their Eurovision 2010 success.
Already on 20th of March Armenian entrant has started her European promotional tour, in
Kiev, capital of Ukraine, Eva has performed as a guest of the first national Ukrainian
Eurovision preselection. The next stop in her tour was Greece (1,2,3), as Eva's great-grandmother comes from this country. The delegation traveled to Thessaloniki (1,2), the second largest city of Greece, where they have met with the Prefect of the city Panagiotis Psomiadis. At the end of the conversation the Prefect jokingly wished Eva good luck at the contest, but on condition that she will finish on the second place behind his home country. The delegation then went to the City Hall garden, where the planting of the apricot tree took place, a tradition that Eva plans to continue on all stages of her promotional tour. The next day, April 3rd, Eva performed in concert together with famous Tata Simonyan, which took place in the concert hall "Focus". The next city on the tour was Athens. In the capital of Greece, Eva has participated in many TV shows, including the ones on TV "Alfa" and "Star" (1, 2). After Athens delegation moved to Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, on the invitation of Vardges Mahtessyan, MP of Cyprus. In Nicosia Eva took part in the TV shows on channels "RIK 1" and "RTCY" (1, 2, 3), and also appeared in the TV program "Good Morning Country". The next day, Eva performed in the biggest club of the capital, the "Zoo", and also gave a solo concert for the local Armenian community. And of course Eva has traditionally planted apricot tree together with the Mayor of Nicosia Eleni Mavra, after which a press briefing has followed. After Cyprus delegation flew to Moscow, where Eva took part in the annual ceremony of Armenian music awards Tashir 2010, singing songs "Hayastan" and "Apricote Stone". Despite the already existing positive attitude of Europeans towards participants from Armenia, according to the administrator of Eva Rivas, Hrach Mesropyan, a tour of Europe is only part of a grand work to be done to achieve the ultimate goal. In addition to the tour the staging of the song presentation is being developed, which according to the delegation should become a huge surprise. Main information related to the show is still kept a secret, although it is known that the choreography is being prepared by the well-known choreographer Nikolai Androsov - founder and artistic director of Ballet School "Russian Seasons", among recent works of whom is the staging of the musical "Blue Cameo" of Kim Breitburg and Karen Kavaleryan (lyricist of "Apricot Stone"). Together with Eva at the Eurovision stage will appear back-vocalists Mariam Merabova (who has already participated in the performances of Dima Bilan, Koldun and Ani Lorak at Eurovision Song Contest), Gor Syudzhyan (lead singer of band "Dorians") and Tigran Petrosian. It is possible that they will be joined on stage by the legendary master of duduk Djivan Gasparyan, as it is currently being negotiated to allow his participation on a condition that he will attend only the dress rehearsals and live concerts in Oslo, same as maestor Lloyd Webber did in Moscow. "The show that we plan to stage will be the one that never took place in Eurovision history. We will do everything to impress the sophisticated European audience. I am more than confident that we will succeed" - says the head of holding "Armenia Production" and producer of Eva Rivas Valery Saharyan. Yesterday, Armenian delegation has presented G Remix for the Armenian entry and it's instrumental version that have been premierred on ESCKAZ Radio. |

Besides Aisha there were several other Latvian Eurovision artists involved Intars Busulis (ESC 2009), Lauris Reiniks (FLY, ESC 2003), Andris Erglis (Bonaparti.lv, ESC 2007), Kaza (ESC 2005), Ivo Fomins (ESC 2004) and others. |
(Слышишь ли ты меня?), которую написали Uldis Marhilevics и Guntars Racs (автор текстов Латвии на Евровидении What For? I Hear Your Heart, Dziesma par laimi). |

| The
first band to visit Oslo on this year's Eurovision promo tour, Lithuanians InCulto got
acquainted with the city in (their own kind of) style, playing several concerts, visiting
landmarks of the city and earning 85 Norwegian krone during a half-an-hour busking session
on a busy central street. Both Hard Rock Cafe and Queens Pub hosted live performances by InCulto during the band's 3-day stay. It took just several songs for Hard Rock Cafe to confirm another concert of InCulto in the same location – the band will perform on 25th May and you'll be able to watch the first Eurovision semi-final on big screens afterwards, so mark your calendars if you're in Oslo. Apart from playing gigs (which included busking on the street during the NRK radio interview, in front of amused citizens of Oslo) and giving interviews, the band visited Telenor Arena where InCulto will be the first act to perform during the 2nd Eurovision semi-final on 27th of May. The band also met Mr. Torger Odegaard, Oslo's Commissioner for Culture, in the City Hall. During the meeting, InCulto performed their Eurovision song Eastern European Funk and presented the souvenirs – Easter eggs from Lithuania coloured with Eurovision logo. InCulto's plan to meet Nora Brockstedt, a Norwegian Eurovision icon who took part in the contest in 1960 and 1961, sadly fell apart due to the singer not feeling very well. However, the band plans to meet Nora and give her a performance during their stay in Oslo at the end of May. Next stop – Georgia and Armenia. The band will be playing several gigs and having fun in Tbilisi (15th-16th April) and Yerevan (14th April). |
Hard
Rock Cafe и Queens Pub.
