Dorian Steidl and Nicole Kuntner (Austria):

How Dorian and Nicole were finding rehearsals so far, with the suitcase fiasco? According to the Austrian dancers, rehearsals were going well although yesterdays first rehearsal was a little harder as they were still without proper training clothes or dance shoes, so dancing in jeans made doing the split’s a bit trickier.

The good news is that they do now have all their suitcase so Dorian wont have to resort to dancing naked or wrapped in a Austrian flag as Nicole suggested. Today they were able to dance for the first time in part costume and dance shoes.

After two rehearsals how were they feeling about the competition on Saturday? Both said that they aimed to just go out their and give it their best. Dorian added he had been working very hard and was looking forward to just going out their and having a good time.

When asked about their thoughts on the venue both said they thought it was a good floor. They said is was a lot bigger than they have been using at home and that it was nice to have a round floor as they are dancing ballroom, which is easier to do on a round floor rather then a square floor.

Patrick Spiegelberg and Katja Svensson (Denmark):

ESCKaz was very interested to find out why they had decided to chose to dance a contemporary style piece as opposed to Ballroom and Latin? Patrick said the answer was simple, he wanted to dance with Katja and as she isn’t a ballroom and Latin dancer they chose to do a contemporary piece. They also feel that choosing this style has allowed them to be more expressional and to tell a story, rather then perform set figures like ones seen in Ballroom and Latin. He said they wanted to be a bit more crazy and dark.

How they felt rehearsals were going? Patrick said they were going well but he is feeling a bit sore, and they both agreed that the floor was very nice.

Had they seen much of Glasgow? Yes, they had a great hosts who was being very helpful.

Eldar Dzhafarov and Anna Sazhina (Azerbaijan):

Prior to the press call all media representatives received a press release announcing that Eldar and Anna will be getting married if they win the contest on Saturday. Eldar proposed and Anna placed this condition onto the proposal. Then the couple arrived to much applause wearing tartan costumes they were photographed in yesterday. The longest press call of the morning then took place, was the most members of press so far attending.

Most of the call centred around the couples engagement and that condition of having to win in order to get married. Eldar spoke of how he has been looking at rings in Glasgow.

They also spoke a lot about their reasons for choosing the Phantom of the Opera music. Saying that the music had become very important. Eldar also spoke about how he was really starting to take on the characters of the story now as well.

Anna commented that 'dancing is a drug' speaking about there dance love triangle where there is there love for each other and their love for dance too.

Finally they spoke about how much they were enjoying Glasgow, and how much they enjoyed their photo shoot yesterday in the City.

At the end of the call, the Ireland couple arrived and they gave the Azerbaijan couple a quick Irish dance class.

Gavin O'Fearraigh and Dearbhla Lennon (Ireland):

Carrying the Irish flag the couple from Ireland were next up.

ESCKaz got a chance to ask them how their rehearsals were going. They felt that today’s rehearsal had gone a lot better than yesterdays. They felt a bit shocked after yesterdays rehearsals after watching the other couples dance, but are feeling much better now and looking forward to Saturday.

They then spoke about how they were selected to represent Ireland and gave a bit of information about the styles they are dancing.

Mikko Ahti and Maria Lund (Finland)

They also felt that rehearsal today had gone a lot better, with Maria commenting she was nervous yesterday because everything was new.

As Finland are the current Eurovision Dance Contest title holders ESCKaz wanted to know if that made them feel any added pressure? They both said that it didn’t really and that they were here to enjoy themselves and do their best.

Thomas Berge and Roemjana De Haan (The Netherlands):

Dancers have praised the organization of the show and the dance floor, mentioning that they will be happy to get back to Glasgow sometime, just to explore the city. Roemjana added that she known most most of the professional dancers from the other participating couples, as she met them during tournaments, and it feels to her like a nice summer camp.

They were asked who had brought an idea to combine dancing with singing during the performance, and couple revealed it to be their own idea, allowing to integrate different artistic abilities.

About their dance, Roemjana characterized it as an attempt to create a fairytale in the scope of two minutes.

Lilia Podkopaeva and Sergey Kostetskiy (Ukraine):

During press-conference couple has been informed that they are current favourites of bookmaker agencies and they were really surprised and honoured.

Ukrainian dancers have described Eurovision Dance Contest as their version of the Olympic Games. And as Lilia in Olympics Golden medalist, she said to do the best she can to bring home Golden Trophy of Eurovision as well.

Lilia revealed that she is good friend of all previous Eurovision entrants of Ukraine, especially of Ani Lorak, Andrei Danilko and Tina Karol, who adviced on selection of song for their dance performance, which was finally composed by the same man, who did Karol's Eurovision 2006 entry.

So far, couple was unable to walk around Glasgow, as they have been devoting all time to rehearsals.

Tatiana Navka and Alexander Litvinenko (Russia):

When asked about how preparations for the competition was going, Tatiana spoke about how she had only had 2 months rehearsal prior to the competition and felt there was still things that needed working on for Saturday.

Many people were interested to know if Tatiana felt that her ice skating experience had any effect on her dancing. She said that everything was different, apart from the fact that both are done with a partner, so in both you have to be able to feel you partner. She spoke about how her dance coach is always on at her to straighten her legs as ice skating is done with bent legs opposed to the dances they are dancing. She did however say that she had taught Alexander a lift from ice dancing which is included in their routine.

Tatiana also spoke at length about the music they have chosen to dance to, which is a famous Russian song. They felt that their emotion and ability to tell a story through the music they have chosen and their dancing will help to set them apart from the other couples.

Jason Roditis and Tonia Kosovich (Greece):

After rehearsing in the studio for the second time how did the couple feel their rehearsals were going? They have been rehearsing a lot and feel that everything is going well. They were asked if they’d seen many of the other couples and they said that they tend not to watch the other rehearsals so that they can just focus on themselves.

It’s been 7 years since Jason and Tonia danced together competitively how do they feel to be back in a competitive environment again? Tonia said that it was very different to that of the usual Dance Sport competitions they were used to. Jason went on to say and that preparation for the contest has been very different too as usually in the Dance Sport world couples work a lot by themselves and with a few coaches. Whereas for the contest they have worked with a much larger team, with every element of the look of there entry covered, he feels it takes some of the pressure off them.

Jason now follows a career in Formula One Windsurfing, straight after the competition on Saturday he will be heading off to Portugal for a competition. So what has it been like coming back to dancing? He spoke about how windsurfing had changed his body, as windsurfing requires a different sort of strength to that of dancing. He was also asked if he’s tried to get Tonia to give windsurfing a go and to that she said she gave it a go, found it too hard and went back to laying on the beach.

Karyna Krysko and Saulius Skambinas (Lithuania):

During press-conference Lithuanian couple has explained their choice of music revealing that originally they were set to use Moulin Rouge track for their dance, but after first round of national selection opted for all-Lithuanian soundtrack, giving their dance a strong national flavour which they want to present to the rest of Europe.

Dancers revealed that they consider Glasgow a very beautiful city with really interesting people.

Joao Tiago and Raquel Tavares (Portugal):

Portuguese dancers revealed that they are very pleased with the rehearsals and how much they like Scotland, despite noting that the weather in Portugal is better. On request Raquel has performed part of her fado song.

Marcin Mroczek and Edyta Herbus (Poland):

Marcin spoked about his twin brother Rafal, who was winner of Polish version of Dancing With Stars (while Marcin and Edyta were only third in other edition). He didn't rule out that Rafal might one day appear at Eurovision Dance Contest as well .

As many of previous couples, Polish dancers informed press that they want not to perform simple dance but to tell the story to the viewers which should touch their hearts.

Unfortunately, due to the late finish of rehearsal, British couple was not available for press call.

Как Николь и Дориан чувствуют себя, довольны ли они репетициями, учитывая пропажу их костюмов? Австрийские танцоры считают, что репетиции проходят очень хорошо. Вчерашняя первая репетиция была несколько более сложной, поскольку не было даже подходящих тренировочных костюмов и обуви, поэтому пришлось танцевать в джинсах.

Хорошая новость состоит в том, что чемоданы наконец были найдены и Дориану не придется танцевать голым, или, как предложила Николь, завернутыми в австрийский флаг. Сегодня пара наконец смогла впервые отрепетировать в костюмах и танцевальной обуви.

Что они думают о предстоящем финале конкурса? Оба танцора сказали, что они просто выйдут на сцену и постараются показать все, на что они способны. Дориан добавил, что он очень много работал и с нетерпением ждет этого выхода, но основная его цель - просто хорошо провести время.

На вопрос о том, что они думают о месте проведения конкурса, танцоры заметили, что паркет весьма хороший. Площадь намного больше, чем они использовали дома, и им очень нравится то, что сцена круглая, поскольку исполнение бальных танцев намного легче на круглом паркете, нежели квадратном.

Патрик Спигельберг и Катя Свенссон (Дания):

ESCKaz было очень интересно, почему они решили выбрать современный танец, а не стандартный бальный или латиноамериканский? Патрик объяснил, что все просто. Он хотел танцевать с Катей, а она не является специалистом в бальных или латинских танцах, поэтому они выбрали современный стиль. Они также считают, что выбор этого стиля позволяет им быть более экспрессивными и донести до зрителей историю, чем просто исполнять фигуры латинского или бального танца. Они хотели, чтобы он был немного более темным и сумашедшим.

Как прошли их репетиции? Патрик сказал, что они прошли хорошо, но он немного простыл. Оба танцора согласились, что паркет очень хороший.

Успели ли они посмотреть город? Да, и им очень помогают местные волонтеры-хосты.

Эльдар Джафаров и Анна Сажина (Азербайджан):

До начала пресс-конференции всем представителям СМИ раздали пресс-релиз, сообщающий о том, что Эльдар и Анна собираются пожениться, если они победят в субботу. Эльдар сделал предложение, а Анна поставила такое условие. Затем прибыла сама пара, под большие апплодисменты появившаяся в шотландских костюмах, в которых они фотографировались вчера. Это была самая длинная пресс-конференция утра и ее посетило наибольшее количество прессы.

Большая часть разговоров фокусировалось на помолвке пары и условии, поставленном Анной. Эльдар рассказал, что он уже начал искать кольца в ювелирных магазинах Глазго.

Они также немного рассказали о причинах выбора музыки Призрак оперы, заметив, что музыка - это очень важная часть танца. Эльдар также рассказал, что теперь ему стали очень близки и понятны герои истории.

Анна прокомментировала, что "танец это наркотик", и рассказала о любовном треугольнике, где они с Эльдаром любят друг друга и одновременно любят танцы.

И, наконец они рассказали о том, как им понравился Глазго и какое удовольствие они получили от вчерашней городской фотосессии.

В конце пресс-конференции подошла ирландская пара и дала азербайджанцам небольшой урок ирландских танцев.

Гевин О'Фарри и Дарбла Леннон (Ирландия):

С ирландским флагом место для пресс-конференции заняла ирландская пара.

ESCKaz поинтересовался у них, как проходят их репетиции? Они ответили, что сегодняшняя репетиция прошла намного лучше, чем вчерашняя. Они были немного шокированы просмотром вчера танцев других пар, но сейчас они себя отлично чувствуют и с нетерпенеем ждут субботы.

Затем они рассказали о том, как они победили на национальном отборе и дали дополнительную информацию о стилях их танца.

Микко Ахти и Мария Лунд (Финляндия)

Они также считают, что сегодняшняя репетиция прошла лучше вчерашней. Мария прокомментировала, что вчера она слишком нервничала, потому что все было в новинку.

Поскольку Финляндия в настоящее время держит титул чемпионов Танцевального Евровидения ESCKaz спросил, не добавляет ли это на них давления. Оба танцора ответили, что практически нет, и что они хотят получить удовольствие от выступления, и показать на что они способны.

Свой танец Роемьяна охарактеризовала как попытку создать сказку в масштабе двух минут.

Лилия Подкопаева и Сергей Костецкий (Украина):

Во время пресс-конференции пару проинформировали, что они в настоящее время являются фаворитом по версии букмекеров, чем они были весьма удивлены и польщены.

Украинские танцоры описали Евровидение как их версию Олимпийских игр. Поскольку Лилия - чемпионка Олимпиады, то она обещала сделать все, чтобы привезти домой и золотой трофей Евровидения.

Лилия рассказала, что дружит со всеми бывшими представителями Украины на песенном Евровидении, особенно с Ани Лорак, Андреем Данилко и Тиной Кароль, которые советовали ей в выборе песни для танца. В итоге песню написал композитор, работавший над песней Кароль на Евровидении 2006.

Пока пара не успела посмотреть Глазго, поскольку все время уделяет тренировками и репетициям.

Татьяна Навка и Александр Литвиненко (Россия):

На вопрос о том, как проходила ее подготовка к конкурсу, Татьяна рассказала, что у нее было всего лишь два месяца тренировок перед конкурсом, и она считает, что перед субботой еще нужно немного поработать над определенными элементами танца.

Многих присутствующих интересовало, правда ли что опыт Татьяны в фигурном катании помогает ей в танцах на паркете. На этот вопрос, Татьяна заметила, что в этом практически нет ничего общего, разве что оба этих вида танцев она исполняет в паре с партнером, и обязательно нужно чувствовать его. Она рассказала о том, как преподаватель танцев всегда требует от нее выпрямить ноги, поскольку она привыкла кататься на льду с полусогнутыми коленями. Татьяна также сообщила, что она внесла в танец определенные элементы, в частности, научила Александра одной из поддержек, применяемых в фигурном катании, которая была теперь включена и в их танец.

Татьяна также в подробностях рассказала о выборе музыки для исполнения их танца, поведав присутствующим, что это очень известная русская песня. Танцоры считают, что их эмоции и возможность рассказать историю через музыку, которую они выбрали и их танец, поможет им выделиться на фоне остальных пар.

Джейсон Родитис и Тоня Косович (Греция):

Как прошли репетиции пары? Они очень много репетировали и им кажется, что все проходит успешно. На вопрос, видели ли они выступления других пар, танцоры заметили, что обычно не смотрят репетиции других участников состязаний, а фокусируются на собственном номере.

На вопрос о том, что они чувствуют снова выступая на соревновательном уровне после 7 лет перерыва, Тоня отметила, что Танцевальное Евровидение сильно отличается от обычных спортивных соревнований, к которым они привыкли. Джейсон добавил, что и подготовка к Евровидению отличается от их обычной подготовки, поскольку к соревнованиям они готовились либо сами, либо с помощью нескольких тренеров. Команда подготовки к Евровидению же, несравнимо больше, следят за каждым элементом номера, и это помогает избавиться от груза напряжения.

Джейсон сейчас занят продвижением своей карьеры виндсерфингиста, после Евровидения от отправится на соревнования в классе Формулы Один в Португалии. Что он чувствует вновь возвращаясь на паркет? Джейсон подробно рассказал, как виндсерфинг изменил структуру его тела, поскольку при этом виде спорта используются другие группы мышц, нежели чем при танце. Его также спросили, пытался ли он привлечь в виндсерфинг и Тоню, и на это он ответил, что да - она пробовала, но ей показалось это слишком сложным и она решила лучше просто лежать и загорать на пляже.

Карина Крыско и Саулюс Скамбинас (Литва):

Во время пресс-конференции литовская пара объяснила выбор музыки, рассказав, что изначально планировалось танцевать под композицию Мулен Руж, но после первых раундов национального отбора они предпочли использование полностью литовского саундтрека, что придало их танцу национальный колорит, который они хотят продемонстрировать всей Европе.

Танцоры сообщили, что считают Глазго очень красивым городом, в котором живут очень интересные люди.

Жуао Тиаго и Ракель Тавареш (Португалия):

Португальские танцоры сообщили, что они очень довольны прошедшими репетициями и им очень нравится Шотландия, но отметили, что погода в Португалии будет получше. По просьбе присутствующих Ракель исполнила отрывок своей песни в стиле фадо.

Марчин Мрожек и Эдита Хербуш (Польша):

Марчин рассказал о его брате-близнеце Рафале, который стал победителем польской версии Танцев со звездами (а сами Марчин и Эдита заняли лишь третье место в другом сезоне шоу). Он даже не исключил возможности того, что Рафаль однажды может принять участие и в Танцевальном Евровидении.

Как и многие пары раньше, Польские танцоры отметили, что они не просто хотят исполнить бальный таней, а хотят донести до зрителей целую историю, которая должна тронуть их сердца.

К сожалению, из-за позднего окончания репетиции, британская пара не проводила встречи с прессой.

Austria starts the dance with some "Pink panther" movements, then getting into foxtrot, turning it into jive with "Der Kommissar" and ending the procedures with elements of hip hop. It is one of very few performances that has humouristic touch in it.

Denmark was next on stage, with a routine that was very different from the others. The couple’s routine has a contemporary feel to it, with a lot of contact, floor work and lifts. Both dancers perform with great passion and emotion.

Next up was the couple from Azerbaijan with their "Phantom of the Opera" piece. A fusion of many Ballroom and Latin dances, this piece is high in drama and passion with some interesting lifts.

Then is was the turn of Ireland, whose piece was a fusion of hard shoe style Irish dancing and Latin dance. This pair have great energy and it defiantly has an irish feel.

Finland performs a passionate and romantic tango. With not many couples choosing to cover ballroom dances it was nice to see something different. Again they were well rehearsed and I think they will also give a good performance on Saturday.

The Netherlands are next. They’ve chosen to Rumba to "Angels", and the performance will start and finish with Thomas singing, which should help them stand out from the other couples for doing something different.

Lithuania is on the dance floor. A slow, ballet style section opens the piece with some nice lifts and floor work from the pair. After Karina’s dress is pulled off to reveal another dress, the pace changes and there’s a much more conventional Latin feel to the end.

The current favourites Ukraine were next to enter. They perform a fun high energy jive with a section of the traditional dance “hopak” in the middle. They were well rehearsed and will be a real crowd pleaser on Saturday I think.

Up next were Russia. A good mix of Paso Doble and Cha Cha Cha along with some very adventurous lifts created a dramatic and passionate dance from this couple.

Then it was Greece’s turn, with a very slick performance. Starting with a slower rumba type dance then changing to a Cha Cha Cha and Paso to Black Eyed Peas. They are a very strong couple for the title I think.

Portugal took to the stage next with a mix of rumba and Tango.

Couple from Poland is having some great music choices, and I think this is a routine that the audience is really going to enjoy on Saturday night.

After not appearing at rehersals yesterday the UK were the last to rehearse today. This couple have defiently not lost the energy they had when they first danced together in Strictly Come Dancing. The dance itself is a fast paced mixture of paso, tango and jive, with alot of exciting lifts. The track they have chosen to dance to really helps to create a high energy, exciting piece which I think should do well on Saturday.

Далее на сцене Дания, чей танец довольно сильно отличается от всех других. Номер пары является современным, в нем очень много контакта, работы на полу и лифтов. Оба танцора исполняют его с большой страстью и эмоциями.

Следующей репетирует пара из Азербайджана, с номером "Призрак Оперы". Смесь множества бальных и латинских танцев, этот номер весьма страстный и драматичный с некоторыми интересными лифтами.

Далее пришло время Ирландии, которая исполняет микс традиционного ирлансдского танца с латинскими элементами. У пары очень хорошая энергетика и от них прямо-таки веет всем ирландским.

Финляндия исполняет страстное и романтичное танго. Поскольку не так много пар выбрало стандартные танцы, интересно посмотреть что-то отличающееся. Репетиция проходит весьма успешно и, думается, что они хорошо выступят в субботу.

Следующая на сцене Голландия. Они исполняют румбу на песню "Angels" и выступление начинает и заканчивается пением Томаса, что должно помочь им выделиться на фоне других пар.

Литва на паркете. Медленная стандартная секция открывается красивыми лифтами и хорошей работой пары на паркете. После смены одежды Карины темп танца меняется и заканчивается он латинскими элементами.

Фавориты конкурса, Украина, исполняет очень энергичный джайв с секцией народного танца "гопак" в середине. Кажется, что номер хорошо отрепетирован и зрителям в субботу он должен весьма понравиться.

Далее на сцене Россия. Хорошая смесь пасодобля и ча-ча-ча с достаточно опасными лифтами создает драматичный и страстный танец этой пары.

Пришло время Греции, их выступление начинается с медленной румбы, затем переходит в ча-ча-ча и пасодобль под музыку Black Eyed Peas. Это одни из кандидатов на победу.

Португалия на сцене с миксом румбы и танго.

Пара из Польши отлично выбрала музыку для танца, и, кажется, что зрителям это выступление в субботу должно весьма понравиться.

После пропущенной вчерашней репетиции, пара из Великобритании вышла на сцену сегодня последней. Несомненно, им удалось сохранить энергию, которая была между ними во время их первых танцев в Strictly Come Dancing. Танец представляет собой смесь пасодобля, танго и джайва со впечатляющими лифтами. Трек, под который они танцуют, помогает создать сильную энергетику и похоже в субботу пара должна добиться хорошего результата.

The running order of today's rehearsals looked really weird as some countries have switched places. Opening rehearsal was longer than scheduled and after some delay Austria was first to appear on the dance floor, and as we reported today, Dorian and Nicole were not wearing their final costumes, for obvious reasons as they haven't been found yet. The performance looked very similar to the national final one, it started with a panther movement, and went on with foxtrot on Anton Karas theme, turning into Jive with English version of Der Kommissar (all soundtracks have been recorded specially for national selection by ORF Dancing Stars orchestra) and ends with a hip hop routine on MC Hammer's U Can't touch this. As at national final, we can expect a triple change of costumes in this funny performance!

Second to enter the dance floor was couple from Denmark, and as we informed you recently, you should not expect a standard ballroom dance here! One of the youngest couples will be barefoot on stage performing their jazz dance which will be full of different lifts and rotations. As previously reported the story behind the dance is famous ghost story. Will Patrick or Katja turn into ghosts wearing white canopy? You will see it on Saturday night.

Quite a lot of reports on ESCKaz were already devoted to Azerbaijani couple, and national delegation of this country, debuting at the Eurovision, has organized massive internet launch of the video clips of the couple with rehearsal footage and glimpse of Azerbaijan sightseeing places. Professional dancers Eldar and Anna will try to set a small theater on stage, performing their modern version of story of Erik and Christine. The dance will start with national elements incorporated in pasodoble and will end with tango.

It seems that Ireland has decided to stick with winning formula from last year trying to show as much as possible of Irish dance elements with just a little bit of latin (this time pasodoble) included in the dance routine. Riverdance style shoe tapping on Glasgow dance floor is guaranteed. Gavin and Dearbhla are keen to repeat success and qualify to the top 3 of the competition.

Lithuania is next on the dance floor. Visitors of ESCKaz know how their performance has been developing through the national selection and instead of Christina Aguilera, Karina and Saulius will perform on Jonas and Rasa medley. A lot of accrobatic elements and costume change are included in their fusion of cha-cha-cha and rumba.

A Disco athmosphere is created in the hall with the performance of Swedish couple Danny and Jeanette. Couple will wear typical disco blue outfits with a lot of strass and mirrors, and projections on the LED displays will feature the most important elements of a disco hall - a huge bright glitterball! However today Swedes entered the floor in simple black T-shirts. It seems that despite injury worries Swedish dancers will be able to get in the good form by Saturday.

Russian couple is next to take dance floor. Tatiana and Alexander, as most of the couples today, are not yet wearing their final costumes. Today they appeared in black T-Shirts and jeans with knee protection, as dance features a lot of throwing themselves down-the-floor action. Dance starts and ends with Tatiana on the floor and Alexandr being distanced from her. The performance is very passionate and based on elements of pasodoble and the national dance, very similar to the one performed last year, which is no surprise since the couples share same choreographer.

Despite Jason and Tonia have not danced competetively together for last 7 years, they are showing absolutely no rust on the dance floor, despite saving some of choreography for a futher rehearsals. Jason has admitted he lost 15 kilos to get prepared to this contest. The performance is mix of rumba, cha-cha and paso, performed on two versions of Misirlou, famous Greek tune: first almost classic one, performed by female singer, strangely called Mario and the next, modern arrangement by Dick Dale used by band Black Eyed Peas.

Portuguese dancers Raquel and Joao are next on the parquet. They will perform mix of rumba and tango, and today for the first time we have a chance to hear sountrack "Tirei a Sorte" which is fado inspired tune with national instruments used in it, with tension growing through the song. As Greeks Portuguese couple has not shown the full choreography tonight.

Polish dancers, Marcin and Edyta perform mix or rumba and cha-cha with some modern dance elements on medley of Michael Jackson songs. We know that on the night national colour will be preserved by the outfits of dancers made in national colours, but watching today, we couldn't see much of it in rehearsal performance in casual clothes. As many dances, this one will feature dress change, just in transfer from one dance style to another.

The hot favourites, Ukraine have performed jive. Or rock'n'roll, which is basicly the same thing. Another specilly written soundtrack for Sergey and Lilia performance, is composed by Mikhail Nekrasov, man behind ESC 2006 entry Show Me Your Love and performed by a famous Ukrainian singer Andriy Kravchuk.

Last two countries to rehearse today were the ones, celebrity partners in which have arrived late. Finnish couple has performed tango, as you probably have seen it here at ESCKaz at the Eurotanssit show, so basicly there was no differences.

Dutch performance, however, brought the biggest surprise of the day. Despite earlier announcements, Thomas will become the first participant of EDC to dance on the self performed soundtrack, a "cover-version" of Robbie Williams' "Angels". Dance of friendship rumba is well performed by the Dutch couple.

Репетиция открытия несколько затянулась, и после небольшого перерыва на паркет вышла австрийская пара. По понятным причинам Дориан и Николь выступили не в конкурсных костюмах, поскольку багаж пары пока не был доставлен. Выступление было очень похоже на выступление на национальном отборе, начинаясь с движения пантеры и продолжилось фокстротом на тему Антона Караса переходя в джайв на английскую версию Der Kommissar (все саундтреки были записаны специально для национального отбора оркестром ОРФ) и заканчивая хип хоп движениями на композицию U Can't Touch This. Вторыми в зале появились танцоры из Дании, и, как мы вам сообщали ранее, от них не стоит ожидать стандартного бального танца! Одна из самых моложых пар выступит на сцене босиком исполняя свой джазовый танец, который будет полон поддержек и вращений. Как мы ранее сообщали, за идею танца взята знаменитая история о привидениях. Появятся ли Патрик или Катя на сцене в белых балдахинах? Это вы сможете узнать в субботу.

На ESCKaz достаточное внимание уделялось и подготовке азербайджанской пары, национальная делегация этой страны, дебютирующей на конкурсе, также организовала массовый интернет просмотр видео открыток c репетициями пары и показом красот Азербайджана. Профессиональные танцоры Эльдар и Анна попробуют превратить сцену в театральные подмостки, исполнив современную версию истории Эрика и Кристины. Танец начнется с национальных элементов, инкорпорированных в пасодобль, а закончится в танго.

Похоже, что Ирландия решила придерживаться победной формулы прошлого года, стараясь включить в танец как можно больше элементов ирландского танца и совсем чуть-чуть обязательных латинских элементов (на этот раз это будет пасодобль). Постукивание каблуками по паркету Глазго гарантированно! Гевин и Дарбла постараются сделать все, чтобы повторить успех Ирландии и войти в тройку сильнейших.

Следующей на паркет вышла Литва. Посетители ESCKaz знакомы с эволюционированием танца литовской пары, и вместо Кристины Агилеры в SECC прозвучит микс песей Йонаса и Расы. Карина и Саулюс продемонстрируют множество акробатических элементов и смену костюмы во время исполнения ча-ча-ча и румбы.

Шведская пара Данни и Янетт создает в зале атмосферу дискохолла. Пара выйдет на паркет в типично дисковых голубых костюмах, со значительным количеством стразов и зеркал, а проекции на экранах покажут основной элемент диско - огромный яркий диско-шар! Хотя, сегодня, шведы появились на паркете в черных майках. Похоже, что не смотря на проблемы с травмами танцоры смогут привести себя в хорошую форму к субботе.

Российская пара следующей поднимается на паркет. Татьяна и Александр, как и большинство пар сегодня, еще не демонстрируют свои конкурсные костюмы. Сегодня пара появилась в черных майках и джинсах с наколенниками, поскольку танцорам приходится проезжать на коленях большую часть паркета. Начинается и заканчивается выступление сценой Татьяны, лежащей на паркете, в то время как Александр дистанционируется от нее. Выступление пары очень страстное, основанное на элементах пасодобля и национального танца, немного напоминающего прошлогоднее выступление Марии и Влада. В этом, правда, нет ничего удивительного, поскольку танец обоим парам ставил один и тот же хореограф.

Еще одна профессиональная пара на сцене. Несмотря на то, что Джейсон и Тоня не танцевали на соревновательном уровне уже 7 лет, они абсолютно не демонстрируют разобщенности, но не выполняют некоторые элементы танца, оставляя их на будущие репетиции. Джейсон признался, что сбросил 15 килограммов, готовясь к конкурсу. Пара исполняет смесь румбы, ча-ча-ча и пасодобля на две версии известной греческой песни Мисирлу: почти классическое исполнении певицы, почему-то с мужским именем Марио, и современная аранжировка Дика Дейла в интерпретации группы Black Eyed Peas.

Португальские танцоры Ракель и Жуао - следующая пара, репетирующая сегодня. Они исполнят смесь румбы и танго, и впервые мы смогли услышать саундтрек "Tirei a Sorte", мелодия, вдохновленная стилем фадо с использованием национальных инструментов, с возрастающим напряжением по мере песни. Как и греки - португальская пара не продемонстрировала полной хореографии сегодня.

Польские танцоры, Марчин и Эдита исполняют румбу и ча-ча-ча с небольшими вкраплениями элементов современного танца на попурри песен Майкла Джексона. Мы знаем, что национальный колорит будет воплощен в танце с помощью костюмов в цветах национального флага, но, смотря сегодня репетицию в обычной одежде, он в танце практически не был замечен. Как и во многих танцах, партнерша сменит одежду, как раз во время перехода от одного танцевального стиля к другому.

Фавориты конкурса, Украинская пара исполнила джайв. Или рок'н'ролл, что в общем-то одно и тоже. Еще один, специально написанный для Лилии и Сергея, саундтрек, композитора Михаила Некрасова, автора конкурсной песни Тины Кароль на Евровидении 2006, в исполнении популярного певца Андрея Кравчука.

Последними сегодня репетировали страны, где "звездные" партнеры задержались с прибытием. Финская пара исполнила танго, которое вы вероятно уже видели на ESCKaz в записи с Eurotanssit шоу, отличий в исполнении практически не было.

А вот голландское выступление преподнесло большой сюрприз. Вопреки ранее заявленному, Томас Берге становится первым участником Танцевального Евровидения, который будет выступать под песню собственного исполнения, ковер-версию песни Робби Уильямса "Angels". Пара исполнила танец дружбы - румбу.

Dorian Steidl immediately had a solution to that: "There is only one enemy for me, and that is the airport in Glasgow - because there was lost suitcase with all our dance costumes and shoes, and in the case it doesn't appear soon, then we will apply an easy change to our choreography - we will be dancing naked!"

For the evening press conference and Welcome Party Dorian and Nicole had to quickly purchace an emergency outfits. "Through all my professional dance career I've always feared that the costumes can be lost at the airport, but it never happened - until today. Thank God, now I have a black trouser suit", said Nicole.
