Before we launch ESC 2015 coverage from Vienna, we would like to present a small flashback to the Eurovision 2014 and revisit Urban Ranger Camp & Copenhagen Paintball Arena - formerly known as ESC 2014 venue.
New asphalt (covered by puddles) and 2 small logos near Water bus stop - the only things that are left from Eurovision in the area.
Hardly any people around, and no sign of infamous route blockers. We would like to remind the busy route to the venue of last year:
According to the contracts, the Eurovision organizers had to return the buildings in the original condition, so even the pillars that were destroyed for the show, were installed back. The only profit B&W Hallerne owners got is the new asphalt on the roads leading to the halls.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, Copenhagen hasn't got another indoor concerts venue, though Refshaleøen island itself remains popular outdoor venue for such events as Copenhell, Distortion or Scandinavia Reggae Festival .
