Hello from Kaliningrad

Andy on Thu, 05/13/2010 - 23:38

Just to say a quick hello, it will probably be solely me posting alongside Mike & Daniel on the English part of the blog, so thanks to them for basically keeping it alive. I will try to be reposting all major news from our Russian side, where we will have several correspondents.

Several changes of plans already, initialy we had to get started early on Friday, but as my friend Masha has very urgent thing in her University, she is participating in pan-Russian Olympics on knowledge of Polish language, which was rescheduled for 3 times and finally landed on Friday, we will depart only in the evening. To those who is not aware, I've moved to Kaliningrad, Russia, and if all goes well, I will stay here for at least 3 years. So, we first go on bus to Gdansk, Poland and spending around 4 hours rambling around the city we will travel to airport. After landing in Torp we expect some countryside sightseeing along our trip to Oslo.

Even though there will be considerably lower number of PCs in press-center (actually 100 laptops and not PCs), we still opted against taking ours as we stay in hostel, so probably next post from me will be on Sunday morning from first rehearsal.

And, just to add... I hope Oslo will be a turning point in the story. It goes very personal and I just can hope that everything goes well, and will end in a positive way
