Out and about in Dusseldorf.....

Well the weather was just perfect sooooooo we thought we can either stay in the apartment and watch the Royal Wedding or

get our act together and have a stroll around Dusseldorf to get a feel for the place......

So map checked, camera packed and and sort of plan prepared, of we trotted. It didn't seem that far to walk into town, and in the end it proved to be a really lovely walk, sun was shining and the river Rhine beckoned!!!

We didn't get too far though before a huge thunderstorm started so there was a mad rush to get to some shelter. Randomly we found ourselves in the building that the Molvanians were going to perform in tonight.....see later blogs for more on this......

The rain stopped and thanks to the lovely Mr Tzozar from Molvanians management we now had a much better idea of how to get to the Old Town. Almost by accident we stumbled on Euroclub, which does seem rather nice this year....a bit too nice, very clean and neat....that's not gonna last long with the massed hordes of fan-boyzzzzz and girlzzzzzz partying for two weeks there;-)))

Other interesting stuff going on was some sort of football fan stand thingy all to do with the FIFA Women's World Cup. We didn't stay too long......Fusbal???? Nah!!!!!!

You can see more of what we ran into on this short clip here.........

And finally we also found the Welcome Reception venue.......really rather nice but we are wondering just how many people they can get inside.....after the crush last year this might be an issue.....oh dear!!!
