 ABU TV Song Festival concept has been presented in November 2011. At the
several meetings of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union members it has been decided to revive
the "ABU Popular Song Contest", which was organized in 1985-1987 as a TV
festival for broadcasters-members of ABU under a slightly new format. First ABU TV Song Festivals are being organized within framework of annual ABU Assembly meetings - thus 1st ATSF took place on 14 October 2012 in Seoul, South Korea, 2nd ATSF is scheduled for 26th of October 2013 in Hanoi, Vietnam, and 3rd is expected to be held in 2014 in Macao. The festival is aimed to bring together the best of
Asia-Pacific’s top solo or group talents hailing from an array of national music scenes.
Organizers specifically note, that it is "not a competition among amateur musical
talents", but "a celebration of popular music featuring high-profile musical
talents". Thus, compared to Eurovision organized by European Broadcasting Union being
Song Contest - ATSF is created as non-competetive festival, there are no places awarded.
Participating member organisations are required to provide a solo artist or musical group
who enjoy mass appeal in their home country to be featured in the song festival. There are
no age, language, length or publication date restrictions. Every second year, ABU is also organizing ABU Radio Song Festival, aiming to "showcase some of the best of the best unsigned local talent to an International audience". Thus, it is focusing on "Discovering, encouraging, introducing and promoting new song compositions by unknown artists among ABU member countries". Each member broadcaster is able to submit up to 2 entries to the contest, being "unsigned, amateur original compositions and musicians". It has contest format with professional jury awarding top places and has recorded broadcast on radiostations of ABU members. First ARSF took part on 11th of October 2012 in Seoul and it's winner has been Korean band "Bily Acoustie" with "For A Rest". впервые представлена в ноябре 2011 года. На ряде
встреч членов Азиатско-Тихоокеанского
Вещательного Союза было решено возродить "ABU
Popular Song Contest", организовывавшийся в 1985-1987 годах
в виде телевизионного фестиваля для вещателей-членов
АВС под несколько измененным форматом. Первые Телевизионные Песенные Фестивали АВС организуются в рамках ежегодной генеральной ассамблеи АВС - потому 1й ТПФА прошел 14го октября 2012 года в Сеуле, Южная Корея, 2й ТПФА пройдет 26 октября 2013 года в Ханое, Вьетнаме, и 3й ожидается в 2014 году в Макао. Фестиваль призван объединить в себе самых популярных исполнителей и групп Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона. Организаторы подчеркивают, что он "не является конкурсом среди талантливых музыкантов-любителей", а "торжеством популярной музыки с участием музыкантов высокой категории". Таким образом, по сравнению с конкурсом Евровидение Европейского Вещательного Союза - ТПФА будет организован во вне-конкурсном формате Фестиваля, каких либо мест на нем не присуждается. Участвующие телекомпании будут обязаны выставить на него сольного исполнителя или музыкальную группу, которая уже широко известна на своей родине. conference has been moved back a day and will now be held from May 22 to 24 in Colombo,
Sri Lanka. The conference comprises a two and a half-day conference and four workshops which are open to members and industry partners. The theme for the event will be It’s All About Content: Positioning New Radio In The ‘Knowledge Society’. As earlier announced, The 2nd ABU Radio Song Festival will go ahead on May 23 on the sidelines of the conference. |

with Hồ Kiên, general producer of the ABU TV Song Festival 2013. Besides many facts, he
has confirmed that once again show will end with a group song in English language. He also noted that in future years, festival may be further developed into a music contest with jury. He also said that organizers are creating conditions to extend number of participating countries in the show, as there was a big interest this year, but at this moment ABU and VTV were unable to fulfil all requests due to the number of reasons. |

An air date for ABU TV Song Festival 2013 has been announced for Australia. Short 1 hour
long version of the show will be broadcasted on Saturday, November 9, 7pm on SBS 2
(repeated November 10, 2pm). Catch it "On Demand" here. SBS PopAsia Jamaica Dela Cruz will again be co-host of the event. She and the SBS PopAsia team will be bringing viewers all of the backstage action, straight from the streets of Hanoi, to the SBS Pop Asia TV Show, radio show, Twitter and Facebook page.  16/10 ABU has
released the official rules and information about ABU Radio Song Festival 2014 that will
take place on May 23, 2014, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Each ABU member has been invited to participate in the show with deadline to enter being 10th of November 2013. Each member organisation may submit up to 2 entries with deadline of February 2014. Submitted entries must unequivocally be unsigned, amateur original compositions and musicians (amateurs are defined as those that are currently not or have not at any point had a professional recording contract for the sale of their musical works). Submitted entries will be ratified by the ABU Working Group and in March 2014 published on the official website of the Festival. An international panel of independent judges will choose the best 15 songs to be performed at the ABU Radio Song Festival Gala event. This selection process will occur 3 months prior to the event. Member organisations are accountable in full for the cost of their entrants that might be performing at the ABU Radio Song Festival Gala event in Colombo. This includes, all transport, accommodation and per diem amounts associated with the entrants performance. The ABU Radio Song Festival Gala event in Sri Lanka will be a maximum of 2 hours and will be co-hosted in English and Sinhala languages. A single winner will be chosen based on outstanding performance with a second and third prize also awarded by the judging panel. MBC will record the show for Radio and make it available to all ABU members. Live video streaming will be arranged as well. |

проведении Радио Песенного Фестиваля АВС 2014,
который состоится 23го мая 2014 года в Коломбо, Шри
Ланка. Каждый член АВС был приглашен к участию в шоу, и крайний срок для подтверждения участия установлен на 10 ноября 2013 года. Каждый вещатель может заявить до 2х песен на фестиваль, крайний срок дан до февраля 2014 года. Поданные песни должны быть написаны и исполняться неподписанными музыкантами - любителями (под любителями в данном случае подразумеваются музыканты, которые не имеют и никогда ранее не имели профессионального контракта на продажу своих музыкальных работ). Поданные заявки должны быть ратифицированы рабочей группой АВС и в марте 2014 года будут размещены на официальном вебсайте фестиваля. Международное жюри из независимых экспертов выберет 15 лучших песен для исполнения на гала-концерте Радио Песенного Фестиваля АВС. Отборочный процесс пройдет за 3 месяца до самого шоу. Национальные вещатели берут на себя все затраты на участие в проекте и выступлении на гала-концерте фестиваля в Коломбо. Это включает в себя транспорт, проживание и другие расходы связанные с выступлением. Гала-концерт Радио Песенного Фестиваля АВС в Шри Ланке будет длиться не более двух часов и будет проведен на английском и сингальском языках. На основе выступлений будет выбран победитель шоу, а также профессиональное жюри вручит второй и третий призы. MBC запишет шоу для эфира на радиостанциях участвующих стран и других членов АВС. Festival will take place on May 24, 2014, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.After 1st event in South Korea it has been announced that next event will be
hosted in Australia, as Australian Radio is chairing the organizing committee. However,
this May it was decided that contest will be moved to Sri Lanka, to be organized within
frameworks of "Radio Asia" event that will take place on May 22-24. Organised by
the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, Radio Asia will comprise a two and half-day
conference and four workshops. |

года в Коломбо, Шри Ланка. После 1го фестиваля в Южной Корее было объявлено о том, что следующий пройдет в Австралии, поскольку именно Радио Австралии председательствует в организационном комитете фестиваля. Однако, в этом мае было решено перенести шоу в Шри Ланку, и провести его в рамках мероприятия "Radio Asia", которое пройдет 22-24 мая. Организованное Азиатско-Тихоокеанским Вещательным союзом, "Radio Asia" будет состоять из конференции и четырех семинаров, которые будут проходить на протяжении двух с половиной дней. "Kazmedia Ortalygy" from Kazakhstan has published on it's website information on
the organization of ATSF 2013. "Kazmedia Ortalygy" is a Media Center, situated in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana, housing a switching centre and playout facitity of several national TV channels of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the complex are based JSC "Agency Khabar", "RTRC Kazakhstan", "ITRC Mir" and "Eurasia + ORT" TV company. Also in it are produced TV channels "Bilim", "24KZ TV" and "Kazakh-TV". Differently from European Broadcasting Union regulations, Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union is accepting related organizations which are not broadcasters in the full sense of the word (for example Souroush Multimedia Corporation from Iran - which is local producer of video and audio products etc). "Kazmedia Ortalygy" has become additional full member of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union on 14 December 2012. Organization highlighted that it is possible that it will represent Kazakhstan in the future editions of the festival. There are 2 full members from Kazakhstan in ABU - broadcasters "Agency Khabar" and "Astana TV" which have same rights to represent Kazakhstan in the ABU Festivals. |

в столице Казахстана Астане, позволяющий

медиатехнологий. В комплексе размещены АО "Агентство
"Хабар", "РТРК "Казахстан", МТРК "Мир"
и телекомпания "Евразия + ОРТ". Также на его
базе выходят каналы – "Білім", "Новости
24" и "Kazakh-TV". В отличии от
Европейского Вещательного Союза, в Азиатско-Тихоокеанский
союзе допускается членство организаций, не
являющихся непосредственно вещателями (например
как Иранская Souroush Multimedia Corporation - производитель
видео и аудио продукции и др). "Қазмедиа
орталығы" 14 декабря 2012 года официально стала
дополнительным полным членом (additional full member)
Азиатско-Тихоокеанского вещательного союза.

| "Splendid
7" are: Adila (阿迪拉) (video: 1,2),
AltanBurged (阿拉腾布日格德) (1,2,3,4), Han hu (韩虎) (1),
Jian meng (简梦) (1), Mo yance (莫掩策) (1,2,3,4),
Silanggongbu (四郎贡布) (1,2,3,4) and Yang
xiao (杨晓) (1,2).
Band "Splendid 7" is made up of seven singers of national minority respectively from nationalities Uighur, Mongolian, Korean, Yi, Zhuang, Tibetan and Hui nationality (Muslim group). They are all prize winners of TV show "Zheng Qi Dou Yan" (争奇斗艳) (sort of Chinese Ethnic Idol 2013) hold by China Central TV, standing out through a series of competitions. Ultimately, Altan Burged became winner of Mongolian title, Silanggongbu won Tibetan title and Mo yance won Zhuang title. They own different singing styles, sound conditions and stage performance as well as high quality of music accomplishment and excellent capability of controlling modern music. Thus they finally make up this universal national singer group which can both deduce ethnic style songs and pop music songs. Watch finalists of the show performing 相亲相爱 (Xiāngqīn xiāng'ài) (Love Will Keep Us Together) together with ATSF 2012 entrant Cao Fujia here (this song they will perform at the ATSF 2013) and theme group song here. Show gala was broadcasted in June. At the national day concert, broadcasted on October 1, singers from the show performed "I and my country" and at the Chinese Communist party anniversary concert - "A song for the party" and ethnic medley. "Xiāngqīn xiāng'ài" (Love Each Other) is not an original song, it was performed first at the Opening ceremony of 11th National Games in 2009. It is composed by Ding Yu on lyrics of Chen Tao. Since then it was performed at various popular events by different singers, including Cao Fujia. "Splendid 7" performed at ABU TV Song Festival 2013 in 6-persons line-up without AltanBurged, who was unable to attend the event. |

В конце-концов, Алтан Бургед стал чемпионом среди монгольцев, Силанггонбу среди тибетцев, а Мо Янце завоевал титул среди народности чжуан. У всех из них собственные стили выступления, звучание и сценические имиджи, а также отличный контроль над современной музыкой. Они создали эту международную песенную группу, которая может исполнять как этнические так и поп-песни. The Ngũ Cung Rock Band
(Pentatonic) was established in 2007 to contribute to the Progressive-Hard Rock market,
aiming at becoming the most famous progressive rock band in Vietnam and beyond. They wish
to promote the strength of progressive rock music and yet still bring forth music that has
an identity of Vietnamese pride. Although Ngũ Cung compositions are based on a variety of
dramatic "themes & stories" (native to progressive rock), the band also
tries to write lyrics that their native fans (of Vietnam) can follow & identify with
during normal/everyday life in that country & culture (past, present & future).
Now that Ngũ Cung has reached a strong level of national fame in its own country, they
have branched out to perform live in larger-scale public events & begin penetration
outside of Vietnam. Band became known since they won the talent contest Rock
Your Passion in 2007. Since then they have been regular on Vietnamese rock stage. In July
2009 band has released their debut album 365,000. Current members: Đỗ Hoàng Hiệp –
singer, Trần Thắng – lead guitar, songwriting, Nguyễn Hùng Cường – drums, David
Payne – bass, Nguyễn Hữu Vượng

самой популярной прогрессив рок-группой

стиля прогрессив-рок, в то же время объединяя его
с элементами традиционной музыки Вьетнама. Хотя
песни Ngũ Cung обычно основаны на различных
драматических "темах и историях" (родных
прогрессив-року), группа старается также писать
тексты, которые их поклонники из Вьетнама могли
бы ассоциировать со своей ежедневной жизнью или
культурой этой страны (прошлого, настоящего и

| Justice
Crew is an all-male Australian hip-hop dance and pop music group consisting of Lukas
Bellesini aka Wildrok, Paulo Erico Merciadez aka Paulie, John Len Ruela Pearce, Len John
Ruela Pearce, Emmanuel Rodriguez aka E-Man, Samson Cosray Smith and Solo Tohi. Earlier
members were also Omar Kamara and Anastasios Tass Repousis aka Kid Taz who left group in
2011. Justice Crew were originally two separate dance groups which broke up and merged as one group in early 2009. The group has learnt all the dance moves from YouTube videos. They later entered the 2009 World Hip Hop Dance Championships competition held in Las Vegas, and were placed 14th. In 2010, Justice Crew entered the fourth season of Australia's Got Talent and were announced as the winners on 15 June 2010. In August they have signed with Sony Music Australia. Debut single "And Then We Dance" was released on 27 August 2010, peaked at 26 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum. It was followed by the release of their first video album on 27 September. Second single "Friday to Sunday" was released on 17 December 2010, reaching 18 at charts and becoming double platinum. "Dance with Me", featuring American rapper Flo Rida, was released as the group's third single on 29 March 2011. Justice Crew embarked on the Dance with Me Live Tour across Australia in August 2011 and ended in September 2011. Next single "Sexy and You Know It" was released on 23 September 2011. It was followed by compilation album "Justice Crew Party Mix" on 18 November 2011, which featured a DJ mix of five of their songs and fourteen of their favourite songs to dance to from other artists. The bonus DVD featuring their four music videos, behind the scenes videos, a tutorial on how to do their favourite move was released. The album debuted at number five on the ARIA Compilations Chart on 28 November 2011. To further promote the album, Justice Crew embarked on their Sexy and You Know It Live Tour in January 2012. The group was also giving charity free dance lessons, known as MMAD Moves partnered with Musicians Making a Difference charity and Salvation Army foundation. The group's fifth single "Boom Boom" was released on 2 July 2012, and become their first number-one single. The song was certified four times platinum, denoting sales of 280,000 copies. On 1 October 2012, it was announced that Justice Crew signed to American rapper Pitbull's record label Mr. 305 Inc., a joint venture with RCA Records, to release "Boom Boom" in the United States (The song was originally recorded by Pitbull for his own album but wasn't released and ended with Justice crew). The group's sixth single "Best Night", which was written and produced with Jay Sean, was released on 30 November 2012. New single "Everybody" was released on October 11. | SISTAR
is a South Korean girl group which consists of Hyorin, Bora, Soyou and Dasom. The group made their debut with the song "Push Push" on June 2010, music video for which was released on 3 June 2010 and the next day group gave performance at Music Bank. Second single "Shady Girl" was released on 25 August 2010. On 14 September Sistar was invited to perform in Japan's "Hallyu Music Festival" and on 10 October they have performed in Thailand. Third single, "How Dare You" was released in November and topped No. 1 at various music sites such as MelOn, Mnet, Soribada and Daum Music. On December 9, 2010, the group was awarded Newcomer Award at the Golden Disk Awards. 2011 has started with side project of Sistar19 with members Hyolyn and Bora. Tabare Alam has his origin in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is of mixed heritage
from an Urdu speaking father and a Tamil / Indian mother. He is currently based in
Singapore and is leading performer of this country in Tamil language. Shabir started
songwriting at an early age and wrote & composed his first song at the age of 12. He
got to fame after taking part in the first series of "Vasantham Star" contest in
2005 (on MediaCorp Vasantham TV Channel), which he won. Shabir remains a leading Indian artist in Singapore with a strong fan following in the region having released three albums to date "Alaipayuthey" (2006), "TraffiQ" (2008) & "Swasam-Scents of Prose"(2012) and working on 4th - "Nagarakavithai". Shabir's music is known to be an eclectic concoction of various genres & influences that includes pop, electro and world music. Shabir also collaborated with Tamil rap singer Emcee Jesz to create movie soundtrack, which went on to become the most popular Tamil soundtrack in local television history. He won the Most Popular Song award at Pradhana Vizha 2012 for "Vettai 2.0". At the ABU TV Song Festival 2013 Shabir will premiere the song "Maybe" in Tamil, which will be included in the upcoming album of the singer. Sarith and Surith Jayawardena has reached its popularity through the year-long children
reality TV series "Poddanta puluwan" which they won in 2012. With Sarith on the
guitar and Surith on drums, this couple of twins made highlight on the Sri Lankan TV
screen. Members of duet are now just 12 years old (born on 11th of December 2000), they hail from town of Matara in Sri Lanka, which lies 160 km away from capital Colombo. They have inherited love to music from their parents Jagath Jayawardena, a music teacher at "Rahula college matara" and Niluka Jayawardena, a preschool teacher. Attending school at "Rahula college matara" their academics are very well matched to their musical talents. The twin are also talented in arts and singing, where they have won international art competitions and won 1st place in the all island group singing competition representing their school. Twins have a foundation of western rock and blues music being fans of such bands as 'Scorpions', 'Dire straits' and Eric Clapton. (Tolon) Tursunaliev (born 15 August 1985) - lyrical solo singer with a rare tone of voice:

funk, blues. Musical career of Tola Tursunaliev began in 2003, when he entered the first line-up of at that time little-known band MKD. Scout Caravan – Love Music – Audition" and was one of the artists signed with
Horipro talent agency. In 2005, she made her single debut with Crazy Crazy Crazy and
second single, Sympathy, was also released later that year. Third single Fallin' in or Not
included the ending theme for the anime Love Get Chu. In January 2008 she changed her artist name to May’n, derived from her real name, and demonstrating her hope to always "sing songs that will be everyone’s main theme". She released 2 singles that year which instantly became big hits, each placing in the Top 3 on the Oricon Weekly Chart in their debut week. flight attendant before auditioning for second season of TVB's singing contest show The
Voice in 2010. Since her runaway victory in the show, Mag Lam has been regarded as a diva

fledgling singer has released her debut single "Xizao" followed by highly

Adeel is Afghani singer born Janury 18, 1988. He was born in Kabul and educated in
Afghanistan and Pakistan. Shazad received his initial Musical Training from IndrBhavra
Singh at the Indian Embassy in Kabul. Shahzad has released his first song "Che Goyam Man" on 29 January 2009 by IVAN. The song was also being on aired on major Radio channels of Afghanistan. The video for this song was released two months after and this song helped young, energetic and talented singer to gain a huge following. His musical principles value quality over quantity. Shahzad’s fans span beyond the borders of Afghanistan. He has fans in Pakistan, Iran, Tajikstan, India, UAE and among Afghan immigrant communities in Europe and North America. Shahzad sings in dari and pashto. Shahzad’s first album, "Firqat", was launched in 2010 and it soon sold more copies than any other Afghan artist. It became the album of the year. His new аlbum "Aakhir Ramidy" was launched in 2012. Songs in this album were mostly dedicated to national unity and patriotism. His third album will be released in the upcoming peace concerts. In November 2013 he is scheduled to appear at he 1st Afghan Global TV & Radio Award show in Las Vegas. old Hasliah Noor Abu Hasan, better known as Alyah is a singer from Gelang Patah, Johor,
Malaysia. Since early age Alyah has been taking part in singing competition, becoming
runner-up at Pertandingan Asia Bagus in Jakarta in 1998 at the age of 17. At the age of
19, she won the Bintang HMI 2000 competition organized by Radio Television Malaysia and
recorded a studio album "Destinasi" in 2002. She signes with major label EMI for 2nd album, and "Permata" is released in 2004. In 2006 she leaves EMI and joins 8TV's reality singing program "One In A Million", finishing 6th. After show she becomes part of hip hop band The Fabulous Cats and releases album "Fantastik" with it in 2008. In 2008 she finally breaks out with a self-titled solo album "Alyah" released by Maestro Records. Songs "Tak Mungkin Kerana Sayang" and "Ku Pinjamkan Satu Bintang" become major hits. The album managed to make Alyah one of the most popular female singers of Malaysia. In 2010 Alyah became finalist of Anugerah Juara Lagu show and won prizes for Best song and performance at GAH 1. Rakkaen (real name Wathini Wongsawatkun) is a daughter of famous female singer Banyen
Rakkaen. Her family is therefore truly artistic family, her younger brother Tony is also a
famous TV star. She was born in Udon Thani, northeastern Thailand on February 29, 1980.
She has some Vietnamese ancestors. She has graduated from faculty of Information
Technology. 33-years old Kandy sings mostly Country Music (Northeastern Thailand Style). Together with her mother she has been performing in a folk band "Rakkaen Family". In 2007 she was singing in duet ISIS having a big hit "U Got Me". Kandy has debuted solo in 2010 with the album "Sao Lam Sing" (Northeastern Dancing Girl). Some of songs in the album have been recorded in collaborations with other famous artists of the country. As singer and dancer she has also appeared in various music videos. Kandy is also the host of the most famous radio country music programme on FM 95 MHz in Bangkok. At the ABU TV Song Festival 2013 Kandy will perform song "Hidden Love Hidden Fun". As part of SiamRakkan team, she will be joined by 3 female dancers and they will demonstrate Muay Thai Chaiya technics (the dancing arts of thai boxing). |

will represent Brunei at ATSF 2013. At the event she will perform "Salahkah Aku" (Is it wrong), cover version of the song by Fakhrul Razi (composed by Fakhrul Razi and Adi Rani on lyrics by Fakhrul Razi). Track has been produced and rearranged by Udi Luqman at Udi Records. You can listen to original version by Razi here and to Idrus version for ATSF here. Brunei Pop & R'n'B princess has debuted on a national level in 2007 with single "Tak kan" composed by Hans Anuar. It was followed by "Is This Love?" Host broadcaster has published preliminary schedule for the ATSF 2013. Delegations are scheduled to arrive to Hanoi on 23rd of October and will stay in Sheraton Hotel. On Thursday, they will have a dinner hosted by VTV, and on Friday will come time for the first rehearsal from 19.00 to 21.00. Rehearsals will continue on Saturday at 09.00 - 12.00, followed by dress rehearsal at 13.00-18.00, which will be open for press from 16.30. At 18.00 ABU will organize VIP reception. The concert will take place at 19.30 - 21.30 and followed by post-concert banquet. On Sunday delegations will leave Vietnam. Complete schedule, as well as necessary materials (hotel booking, registration form etc) can be found at General Assembly website. Delegations are requested to provide 10 minutes video representing nature, tourist spots or people of their countries with descriptions, which will be used for creation of postcards. For the participating artists they need to provide biography, hi-res photo, song title and make requests for any back-up dancers or accompaniment to be provided by host broadcaster. Strangely, contradicting to ABU information, VTV site lists not IRIB but Soroush Multimedia Corporation (which technically isn't even broadcaster, but ABU Affiliate member) as participant for Iran. |

Putri Siagian and Shella Tiatira have been today officially presented to Indonesian
Government representatives and local press as ATSF entrants. ESCKAZ has earlier
exclusively reported that young singers have been chosen for the show by Contoh management
company. "We support this festival, because it can be a promotional event for Indonesia. The participants chosen are definitely talented and will surely impress by their vocals at the event", said Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sapta Nirwandar at the news conference that took place at Gedung Sapta Pesona, Jakarta. He has promised full governmental support for the Indonesian entry in the competition. It has been confirmed that at ATSF th duet will perform song Mimpiku (My Dream), composed by Atta Javatta and arranged by Agus Hardiman. The song has been recorded with help of experienced musiciants Okky (drummer of Andra and The Backbone), Ponco Satrio (guitar) and A Zudika Sinaga (suling). The song has been presented first at Keren show couple of weeks ago (broadcast version, venue camera). To achieve tourism benefits, Contoh management will release music video and background video for the duet performance featuring shots from the most picturesque places of the country: Lampung, Central Java and Lombok. Musicians on the national instruments (angklung, gamelan, suling) will accompany the stage performance. At the conference it has been announced that Indonesia is bidding for organization of ABU TV Song Festival in 2015 with "low cost high impact" motto, while 2014 event will take place in Macau, China. If successful, that will mean that in 2015 event will be separated from ABU General Assembly which will take place in Istanbul. |

Indonesian ATSF 2013 entrants duet Putri & Shella will be presented today during TVRI
show Keren at 16.00 local time, 11.00 CET (online) Indonesia again goes for fairly unknown artists this year, singed to production company Contoh management, that has been made responsible for the preselection by broadcaster TVRI. Putri Siagian is the singer, originally named Indonesian entrant for ATSF 2012, but controversially de-selected with a live final. This time, she is joined by Shella Githa 'Tiatira'. It is uknown, whether ATSF entry will be the same song "Mimpiku" (broadcast version, venue camera) that was presented today during the Keren show, or other song - however, it is known that music video for ATSF entry has been filmed last week at Lombok. The song itself has been recorded in Studio Musik Tek in Jakarta. Putri Rama Noviyanti Siagian was born in Jakarta on 10th of November 1996. She is known as a finalist of the 3rd season of Mamamia Show in 2010 - a casting show of girls with mothers for would-be pop stars. She ended as a runner-up in the show. Her singing talent and great desire to become a professional singer since childhood made her to continue to explore the potential in the world of show business. Since then, Putri has been working on a spiritual album and performing at various stages of the country. |

Kuwaiti composer Mohammad Al-Ruwaishid took the award home for a song
