Charts
We are bringing back our annual project of reviewing all most popular internet charts, presenting their top and bottom 3 with regular updates. As usual we also start our own small poll where you can vote for your favourite entries and leave your comments. See 2008 results here

Dear friends, we'd like to remind you, that all web polls are unofficial and are meant first of all for Eurovision Contest fans. They do not have any reflection on the final outcome of the contest and do not reflect opinion of "average" European viewer. Thus, we kindly ask any fan-clubs not to do everything possible to ensure win in this votings, as it won't help in any way not you, nor your idols. If you want to support this project, please link to the front page of ESCKaz.com instead of directly linking to this page.

Select the best songs of Eurovision 2009 on your opinion. Multiply choice possible.

We'd like to note, that in the last years, especially in Russia, there is certain wrong assumption and overestimation of bookmakers odds in a prognosys of Eurovision results. Studying the latest odds one should remember the following:
1) For bookmakers only the winner (or top 5 at maximum) are important, all other positions are ignored. Thus, if any entry is situated in 20th place in bookmakers chart, this doesn't mean it is likely to finish on this place. It means that bookmakers believe it doesn't have many chances to win the contest.
2) Most of the odds are developed by British bookmaker agencies. It is very rare to meet alternative odds to them.
3) Countries supported by block or diaspora voting, like Russia, Serbia or Sweden, are usually high in the odds charts, even before the exact song representing these countries is selected.
4) Sometimes, odd can be significantly shortened with some major bets on it - like currently in a case of Montenegro, where in few days odds have shortened from 100/1 to 5/1 due to possibly some high bets made on it. It doesn't mean however, that winning chances of this entry have significantly increased.

Here are the top three positions in bookmakers odds charts in recent years prior to the Euroweek - and Eurovision position in brackets
2001: Sweden (5), France (4), UK (15)
2002: Germany (21), Sweden (8), Estonia (3)
2003: Russia (3), Spain (8), Germany (11)
2004: Sweden (5), Ireland (22), Belgium (23)
2005: Greece (1), Norway (9), Hungary (12)
2006: Greece (9), Romania (4), Sweden (5)
2007: Switzerland (hasn't qualified to the final), Serbia (1), Sweden (18)
2008: Russia (1), Serbia (6), Armenia (4)
