13 years old Rachel Traets (born on August, 16 1998) comes from village of Wouw in municipality of Roosendaal. She is now studying in the second year of secondary school Gertrudis College and also attends Rock Academy in Tilburg.

The girl has been singing for as long as she can remember herself, repeating pop songs along with the radio. From age of 9 she started taking singing seriously. And she has also been learning dance. She dances on Friday nights at Body Care, and also does acting, dance and singing in Youth Theater Hofplein.

Rachel also loves shopping, especially with her friends. She spends a lot of spare tyme  on Dutch social network Hyves. "The best job I like is to plant flowers in the garden and the less fun for me probably is washing the dishes and cleaning my room". You can watch report from Rachel's house here.

Since her birth she has a problem with her left arm (torn nerve and it is partially paralyzed). Her life was not much affected but sometimes she can not grab things with her left hand properly as her arm is hanging down. As baby, Rachel had surgery for nerve impulse, carrying from her feet to neck. And at the age of 4 another one on her muscles. Now she is being regularly checked and third surgery is being considered.

When Rachel is not going to school, she loves to sing, act and especially dance. As a special ambassador of the foundation for chronic illness and handicapped child , she believes that everybody should be treated equally and must realise his own dreams.

"I would like to show that I have a passion for music. I find though talent shows like X Factor too high, so I've registered for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. I hope this is just the beginning and that there will come much more in my future", says Rachel.

"I'm not really nerveous, it's healthy tension. I've done some gigs already, so it gets used a bit. From early on, I am busy with music. I prefer to go later to the conservatory, but it will take a while". She wants though to deal with pop music, not classics. She loves to make people happy with her songs. Rachel participates with the song Ik ben een teenager, for which she had written both lyrics and melody herself. "I decided to write a song about puberty because I become one myself and also hear from friends around me that they fight more with their parents etc. So I wanted to write about it because lots of other children also have to deal with it. I made up the lyrics and the melody all by myself. I didn’t took very much effort to get the lines on my paper. The words came out of my head with wind power 11. The melody is recorded by a friend of our family. I think it worked out really well".

As a true teenager, Rachel prefers to have fun with her friends and doesn't want to spend too much time on her homework. She feels on top of the world and has the feeling that everything is possible and it is her time to shine.

Her song was produced by Future Presidents (behind group song as well, and several JSF entries last year, wrote and produced half of the new Ralf Mackenbach album). "They changed a lot. I think the biggest change is to use the word Teenager instead of Puber because that sounds more international. I love it! It wasn’t difficult at all to accept the chances because the producers are professionals and they have the knowledge and expertise to make it a hit. The cooperation went really well, the three guys are very funny, we had to laugh a lot in the studio".

Future Presidents is a songwriters/producers collective consisting of Willem Laseroms, Joachim Vermeulen Windsant and Maarten Hove. Formed in 2007, they are responsible for several chart hits performed by some of the biggest artists in their home country a swell as having their own radio hits. Future Presidents has, over the years, achieved multiple gold and platinum success throughout Europe and they have produced official remixes for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, Chris Brown, T-Pain and many others.

Together with her dancers Dylan Hasselbaink, Melle Bakker, Daniel Akkermans and Roy Scheerman Rachel will rock from her scaffolding and reach for the top in Yerevan while being supported by her most important fans, her parents and her sister!

"My aim is to show other people in our country that I have a passion for singing and dancing. I’d like to transfer my message of the song to other children. It would be nice if I win this competition but I think my message is more important than the victory", says Rachel, adding "Please, listen carefully to my song and try to discover the message".

С детства у Рэйчел проблема с левой рукой (разрыв нерва и она частично парализована). На ее жизни правда это не слишком отразилось, но иногда она не может правильно взять вещи левой кистью, потому что рука свешивается. В младенчестве Рэйчел уже перенесла одну операцию на нервный импульс, что проходит от ног до шеи. В 4 года - еще одну, на мускулах. В настоящее время она регулярно проходит проверку и рассматривается возможность третьей операции.

Когда Рэйчел не ходит в школу - она любит петь, и в особенности танцевать. Как специальный посол фонда хронических болезней и детей с физическими недостатками она верит, что ко всем надо относиться одинаково и давать равные возможности реализовать свои мечты.

"Я хочу показать, что у меня есть страсть к музыке. Я посчитала такие шоу как X-Factor слишком крупными, поэтому решила подат заявку на Детское Евровидение. Я надеюсь, что это только начало и что придет еще гораздо больше в моем будущем", говорит Рэйчел.

"Я не слишком нервничаю, это здоровое напряжение. Я уже имею небольшой опыт выступлений, поэтому немного привыкла. С детства я занимаюсь музыкой. Я бы хотела поступить в консерваторию, но пока до этого еще далеко". Она хочет иметь дело с поп-музыкой, не классической. И обожает делать людей счастливыми своими песнями. Рэйчел выступает с песней Ik ben een teenager, к которой сама написала и текст и мелодию. "Я решила написать песню о взрослении, потому что я сама стала подростком, и часто слышу от своих друзей, что они стали больше спорить с их родителями и т.д. Так что я хотела написать об этом, потому многим другим детям также приходится через это проходить. Текст и мелодию я написала полностью самостоятельно. Потребовалось не так много усилий, чтобы записать строчки на бумагу. Текст рождался у меня в голове со скоростью ветра. Мелодию записал друг семьи. Я думаю, что все получилось очень хорошо".

Как и каждый подросток, Рэйчел предпочитает проводить время со своими друзьями и не хочет уделять много времени домашним заданиям. Она чувствует, что сейчас находится на вершине и все для нее возможно и пришло ее время блистать.

Продюсерами песни выступили Future Presidents (также являются авторами групповой песни, и спродюсировали ряд песен конкурса в прошлом, а также написали и спродюсировали половину нового альбома Ральфа Макенбаха). "Они изменили многое. Я думаю, что самым большим изменением стало использование слова Teenager вместо Puber потому, что это звучит более международно. Мне это нравится! Было совсем не сложно принять все изменения, потом что продюсеры очень профессиональны и у них есть необходимые знания и опыт, чтобы сделать хит. Сотрудничество прошло отлично, эти три парня очень веселые, и мы постоянно смеялись в студии".

- Ты считаешь, это сложно совмещать подготовку к Евровидению и учебу?
- Да, это намного сложнее, потому что я реально занята, но мои школьные отметки все равно довольно неплохие.

- Тебе интересно узнать, кто будет твоими соперниками в Ереване, следишь ли ты за новостями конкурса, планируешь ли заранее прослушать все участвующие песни?
- Да, я видела песни других финалистов и я с нетерпением жду конкурса.

- Какие у тебя планы подготовки к конкурсу?
- Помимо всего, я много репетирую дома. Но, конечно, у меня будет много вокальных и танцевальных уроков. И буду отдыхать, когда это требуется.

- Какова твоя цель на конкурсе? Ты хочешь победить или цель другая?
- Я еду в Ереван, чтобы прежде всего провести фантастическую неделю, много пения и удовольствия. Конечно же, я надеюсь, что смогу набрать много баллов и завести много друзей, но для меня честь - уже просто выступить на этой сцене.

- Ты уже получила какие-то советы на поездку в Ереван от родственников или друзей?
- Да, мне уже дали несколько советов о полете и поездке в Ереван, а также о том, чего вообще ожидать от Евронедели.

- Кто работает с тобой в качестве преподавателя по вокалу и хореографа?
- Мой педагог по вокалу - Бабетте Лабей, а Люсия Мартас и Мелаиса Иллис - хореографы. Я беру у них уроки.

- Можешь представить нам танцоров, которые выступят с тобой на сцене?
- Со мной поедут четыре танцора. Их зовут Дилан, Даниель, Рой и Мелле.

- Как ты визуально представишь свою песню на сцене? Будет ли выступление похоже на то, что мы видели на национальном отборе, или есть план добавить каких-то визуальных эффектов, для того, чтобы аудитория лучше поняла твою песню?
- Мы пробуем сделать ее более захватывающей, так, чтобы международная аудитория была впечатлена всем номером. Будут какие-то новинки...

- А что касается твоих костюмов, планируешь ли ты их сохранить?
- Да, я думаю, что костюмы останутся прежними.

- Что самое сложное для тебя в твоем номере?
- Тот момент, когда моя голова проходит через конструкцию-леса. Не очень хочется, чтобы ее ударило.

- Какие у тебя планы после конкурса? Записываешь ли ты новые песни?
- Я пишу новые песни и надеюсь, что скоро мы сможем выпустить целый альбом.

Junior Sint Festival comes on Dutch screens - there will be three episodes broadcasted, starting from November 16 every Wednesday at around 17.10 on Zapp. A special page devoted to this even has been launched at AVRO site. Sinterklaas, Hoofdpiet and finalists of Junior Songfestival are chosing Piet of the year, while finalists will be singing Christmas songs in new versions and songs from recently released Christmas CD. В понедельник состоялись съемки видеоклипа на групповую песню "Yeah Yeah" и ESCKAZ получил возможность задать всем финалистам несколько вопросов - ответы на них можете найти ниже.

Merijn Mooijman (JuNMe)
1. “Yes it’s surely my biggest achievement so far. There has changed a lot. I got recognized very often when I’m just walking in the streets. People look up to me, see me more as a ‘famous’ person and they have more respect for me.”
2. “The two girls I sing with started working on the song but they asked me to join them. And when I was part of the group we completed the song with the three of us. Our singing coach and producer helped us to create the song. But we also did a lot by ourselves. We decided what the subject should be and we wrote the lyrics.”
3. “Our producers created a new beat which makes the song more disco-like. It’s more exciting now and you’ll get happy when you hear it on the radio. I’m very happy with the result. I shouldn’t done it differently and definitely wouldn’t done it better!”
4. “No I can’t tell anything about that yet, it’s all a big magical secret ;)”
5. “My goal is to become a famous singer. Maybe it sounds a little weird but I would love to become as famous as Justin Bieber. And of course I’m looking for the victory! It’s very nice to be part of this group and to come this far and to be able to do what we all are doing but still the biggest achievement is to win this competition.”
6. “I think it’s going to be great! It will be big with lots of people and lots of spotlights. There will probably be a lot of talent from all those different countries so it’s going to be a challenge to become the best one over there as well…
I watch the Junior Eurovision Songfestival every year. And I’m not really a fan of one of the candidates from previous years but I do think Zhana was really good.”
7. “Participate if you’re fond of singing and dancing. Everybody has a chance to win!”

Nikki Veldkamp (JuNMe)
1. “Yes it actually is. I did participate in ‘Kinderen voor Kinderen’ but this is much bigger. For now there hasn’t changed a lot. My week is more busy and as an artist get more attention. People keep asking questions like: Did you make it to the next round? and You are the girl form the Junior Songfestival, right?”
2. “First my friend June and me started writing the song just with the two of us. But then we decided to put a rap part in the song so we asked Merijn to join us, he’s a very good rapper. We did got some help to make the song but June, Merijn and me made-up the subject and we also wrote the lyrics ourselves.”
3. “Our voices are louder now and they insert more effects. It’s very cool now! But weird to hear how it was before and how it sounds now. You really don’t recognize the old song anymore!”
4. “The name of the song is ‘Magie’ so I hope our act will be something with magic and juggle. A big juggle act like ‘Hans Klok’ would be amazing.”
5. “What I want to achieve is to get to the European final. Then I’m already happy enough. But I have to say that being in the semi-finals of the national competition is really cool as well. After the competition I definitely want to keep singing. I’m not sure it will be in this little group. Maybe I want to go solo then but that’s still very insecure. I do know for sure I won’t stop singing!”
6. “Everybody has a chance to get to the European final so you have to prepare yourself. I think it’s not going to be normal how big and crowded it will be. It’s a pity that not the entire group can go to Armenia. The feeling will be different then. There is such a good click between all the finalist that you maybe will feel a bit lonely without their support. And of course I always watched the European finals from past years. Ralf from the Netherlands is my favorite participant. I met him once and he’s really nice.”
7. “Thanks I got the chance to be standing here right now!”

June Carmiggelt (JuNMe)
1. “Yes, I also participated in ‘Kinderen voor Kinderen’ but this is already much bigger than that. My life isn’t changed yet. People in the streets are not screaming or following me yet. Probably that’s not how it’s going to become anyway but I do think you’ll get more recognized when the semi finals start.”
2. We got a little help with making the song but we invented the subject of the song. I am fond of juggle so that’s how we made up our title ‘Magie’. We first wrote the lyrics and after that our producers added the melody.
3. “It was very special to hear the new version. They didn’t change the lyrics at all. Only the melody is a bit different, it’s more up tempo now. But it stayed our song and that was nice for us to know. The cooperation with the producers went really fast, everything was done in a split second.”
4. “Because the name of the song is ‘Magie’, I think it’s nice to have a juggler in our act who does some exciting stunts or something like that. I also want some dancers but to be with just the three of us won’t be a problem either.”
5. “Yes of course I would like to win. But I think that’s something everybody wants. How awesome is it to be able to represent your own country on an event like the Junior European Songfestival. I’d like to show the world what I am capable of. Also the ‘being famous’ part seems very exciting in my eyes. But not too famous, I still want to walk around normally in my own city.”
6. “I can’t even describe how much I love to watch the Junior European Songfestival. I watch it already since the very beginning. The bees were very funny.
We have to practice a lot I guess if we are the lucky ones to go to Armenia. The week is going to be busy but besides that you get to know lot’s of new people. I think the language obstacle will work out well, it won’t be a problem.”
7. “If you want to participate, always try! I didn’t expect myself to get this far and see where I am right now. Keep trying and who knows how it works out for you!”

Yassir Arsalan
1. “Yes it is. I participated in the Junior Songfestival ones more and I made it to the last 30 but at the end I didn’t made it through. So that makes it extra special to be here today because now I did make it! You’re discovered and that results in people looking up to you, you get much more messages on Hyves, Ping, Mail etc. The amount of fans is growing very quickly. There is one girl who is following me even every day.”
2. “There is not really a story behind my song. I’m writing songs for quite a while now and I already wrote these lyrics a long time before I decided to send my song to the Junior Songfestival. Then when the registration period was almost over I did decide to give it a shot and try again. I’m 15 years old now so it was the last opportunity for me. I wrote the song all by myself without any help.”
3. “The song has a completely different beat now. And my producers, Yes-R and Dutch Brownie, also changed the refrain. It’s great, I love it. To be working with these guys was awesome. They are also rappers with lots of experience so it was good for me to learn from them. They were not strict at all, it was very relaxed.”
4. “Everything stays a secret!”
5. “My aim is to ENJOY! I let it all happen and take it as it comes. It’s difficult to plan something so we’ll see where it ends. I didn’t really come here to win the competition. It is a victory in itself to be in the semi-finals. Of course it’s great to win, but it’s not the most important reason to be here.”
6. “It will be big and beautiful! It’s a once in a lifetime experience so I would love to be able to be there on stage. I watch it every year but there is not one act that I still remember because it was so special or so.”
7. “Enjoy it!”

Joel Lobato
1. “Definitely in the case of singing. It’s super cool to be on television and be in the final eight. I never made it this far with anything like this. Maybe that’s because this is also the first time I participate in something like this… At this moment my life hasn’t changed much yet. I have to travel a lot all the way through the Netherlands to do television recordings but there is still much spare time left. I think when the live shows get started I will be more busy and get more recognized in the streets.”
2. “It’s my hobby to write lyrics. I write sole but much of the time I write them with a friend in my class. They used to be in English so also my song ‘Ik denk aan jou’ was originally written in English. My mother was actually the one who told me to try to write it in Dutch to be able to participate in the Junior Songfestival. I wrote the song all by myself and I used my piano to make the melody. I even took extra piano lessons to make the song sound better.”
3. “My producer made it more up-tempo and he inserted some sort of a story in the song. Now it’s not only Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc. I am very happy with the changes. The song is more exciting now, it is spiced up a little and it sounds more positive now. I already got a bit bored of my old song so it’s perfect now!”
4. “The producers of the program make up a spectacular act for all the finalist. I don’t know what they planned for me yet. I will probably be behind my piano during the first couplet and refrain. After that when the beat comes in I will move a bit around on the stage I guess. But I prefer not to dance to much because singing and dancing together is pretty difficult. I hope there maybe will be other people playing instruments on stage because there are a lot of different instruments in my song.”
5. “I already achieved my goal. I’m in the live shows! The things I experience right now are so cool and of course it’s even better if you win the competition but I also award the other finalists. We all became friends. And I know it used to be a battle but I doesn’t feel like one at all.”
6. “I think it will be a very special week full of surprises. Of course the focus is on the big Saturday evening but there are lots of things around that you have to do in that week. To meet the other winners from all these different countries will be very special. You can talk about music because everybody has the same passion. Maybe the language will be sometimes problematic. I do have some English lessons at school but we only learn some basic words. I guess practicing will be necessary then.”

1. “Yes this is the biggest achievement in case of singing. Sometimes I get recognized but overall it hasn’t changed my life yet. I guess that will become more when the live shows start.”
2. “When I couldn’t sleep in the morning I started writing the lyrics of my song. After that my singing coach helped me to improve the song. I made up the subject and the words in the song, she helped me to sing it in the right way.”
3. “He made the refrain one tone higher and it’s a three-part now. We also put some other words in the refrain. Now there are more and longer plays. I am very happy with the changes. The song is much more spontaneous now. You really think like: ‘Wow, is this the refrain?!”
4. “At this moment we don’t know what our act is going to be exactly. But I did say what I would like. To have some male dancers would be awesome. Girls are nice as well of course :) I do want it to be something big and spectacular for sure!”
5. “I want to show the world who I am and what I can do. Actually the same as the message of my song. I think it’s nice to become really famous but if that’s not going to work the experience of being part of this group and to be able to sing is a very nice achievement already. Of course it’s a dream to win this competition. Who wouldn’t want to go to Armenia?”
6. “I don’t know if competitors in Armenia will also become friends during that week. It will be difficult due to the language. But the week will be great! I think they will be very busy doing interviews, practicing your act, promoting your country etc.
I used to watch the Junior European Songfestival almost every time. Sometimes it’s not possible to see it all but I always try. I still remember the two girls with the whistles, don’t remember their names actually. There is not really one act that made a big impression on me. I have to say I liked the ‘Baby Gaga’ act, it was special because she imitated Lady Gaga. That was very funny.”

1. “In terms of singing is this the biggest thing I achieved so far. It’s a dream, I really can’t believe it, it’s AMAZING! The competition has changed my life in a positive way. People stare at you in the streets and they ask things like: It’s you from the Junior Songfestival isn’t it? and I am going to vote for you. I’m a little shy so most of the times I smile at them and walk further. I think later on the attention will even be more. I get very nice and spontaneous reactions on my twitter. I have more than 1390 followers now! I didn’t ask for them but just got them from one day to the other. Super cool, I’m really a Twitterqueen.”
2. “My mother told me I spent so much time on twitter so she called me a ‘Twitterqueen’. And then I thought, this is something for a song. I started thinking about connections with twitter and that’s when the song was made. My singing coach helped me with the order of the words and sentences but I wrote the lyrics all by myself.”
3. “He made it more up-tempo. And he also made some Arabian music as baseline which makes it really cool and special. Now it’s more a disco song, very good to dance on and it became more international. I really had a click with my producer. He’s very funny, made me feel comfortable and he gave some helpful tips.”
4. “I don’t know how my act will be. I hope I can dance a lot because that’s what I love to do. Maybe it would be nice to have a little blue twitter bird on stage who whistles a little bit. And posters with my name: Twitterqueen. I also like to have some male dancers to make to act a bit more rough.”
5. “Well my goal was actually get to the semi finals. And I achieved that already so now I also want to win. But everybody is very good and I also award all the other finalists. Another goal is to be on television, that’s so cool.”
6. “That time will be great. I think it’s nice to talk with the children from other countries about music. Of course I hope to stay in contact on twitter then after the week in Armenia. Most of all I think it will be all very cozy and sociable. You will be performing on a huge stage and do your act in front of thousands of people in the crowd. 1. “Yes, it was my dream for all my life but I had to wait first until I was old enough. Last year I turned 10 so finally I was able to participate and now I already reached the semi finals. It’s unbelievable. My life hasn’t changed much yet. But it definitely will change after the live shows.”
2. “My mother was sitting on our couch with a guitar. She made up the melody. Then I wanted to make a song. In the beginning it was very difficult but when we both went behind the piano and started writing the lyrics it was much easier. She wrote the first couplet with my help and I wrote the second couplet and the refrain myself. We made the melody with the piano and guitar.”
3. “My producer, Bas, didn’t change very much. The song was already pretty good in its original way. He only made the melody a bit more rough and the intro is longer now. In the last refrain we decided to put some more high plays to make the song more special and challenging.”
4. “I don’t know yet. Preferably not too much dancing because it’s difficult to sing and dance in the same time. Some small moves is perfect of course. I hope the stage will be crowded with dancers and full of activity because that’s also what I sing in the song.”
5. “I would love to keep singing and to become a little more famous. I don’t want to become TOO famous because that will be too busy. I like to keep doing other stuff. I think I would like to be like Demi Lovato. I’m a huge fan of her, she sings great, is very famous but is still able to walk in the streets and do other things.”
6. “I am watching the Junior European Songfestival since 2008. I don’t have a favorite act but the shows are very exciting overall.
The week in Armenia will be very busy with lots of interviews. I thinks I won’t sleep very well over there because it’s always difficult for me to sleep in a strange place. I always miss my own pillow…”

Rachel Traets
1. “Yes this is definitely the biggest thing I achieved until now. But I hope this is just the beginning and that there will come much more in my future. At this moment it hasn’t turned my life upside down yet. It’s more busy and sometimes I get recognized but I think that the closer we get to the live shows the more busier it gets. But it will still be very nice!”
2. “I decided to write a song about puberty because I become one myself and also hear from friends around me that they fight more with their parents etc. So I wanted to write about it because lots of other children also have to deal with it. I made up the lyrics and the melody all by myself. I didn’t took very much effort to get the lines on my paper. The words came out of my head with wind power 11. The melody is recorded by a friend of our family. I think it worked out really well.”
3. “They changed a lot. I think the biggest change is to use the word Teenager instead of Puber because that sounds more international. I love it! It wasn’t difficult at all to accept the chances because the producers are professionals and they have the knowledge and expertise to make it a hit. The cooperation went really well, the three guys are very funny, we had to laugh a lot in the studio.”
4. “I would love to have dancers of my age. A bit rebellious like teenagers but surely not brutal. At this moment I don’t know yet how the exact act will look like.”
5. “Aim is to show other people in our country that I have a passion for singing and dancing. I’d like to transfer my message of the song to other children. It would be nice if I win this competition but I think my message is more important than the victory.”

1. “Yes and it’s also the only thing I ever did with singing. It’s the first time in my life I did an audition. I think my life did change in a way. You are surrounded by camera’s all the time and there are a lot of people who are very enthusiastic and say: I am going to vote for you and I will support you.”
2. “One day I was expelled from my classroom and in the time I was waiting there circulated a melody in my head. I really love music so that was the subject I wanted to write a song about. After that it all went spontaneously…”
3. “My producers didn’t change very much. They doubled the refrain, put a break in it to let the audience clap with me and they added an instrumental part in the song. I think it’s much more a real song, much fuller so I’m really happy with the result.”
4. “A band would be a dream. No Kiss or Rock’n Roll but a band who plays more sensitive. I’d like to play my guitar and I prefer not to dance. That’s how I would see it but I’m not the one who decides that.”
5. “It’s great to win but it’s not the most important goal. My personal aim is to let kids see how beautiful music is. To stimulate them in making music. I prefer having fun making music and I would love to share my passions with other musicians. Of course it’s nice to be recognized in the streets but I don’t want to get very famous for the rest of my life. This experience is already great in itself!”
6. “When I think of the Junior European Songfestival final I thinks it’s going to be very busy. But lots of fun. I guess everybody would like to go to Armenia because it’s such a special experience. The best part will be to be busy making music all day long!”
I didn’t see all the episodes of the European finals. I did try and I always watched it when the television was turned on, at that moment I didn’t want to play outside anymore. I liked it overall, there was not one specific act I liked the most.”

1. Да, это конечно мое самое большое достижение до сих пор. Многое изменилось. Меня часто узнают даже когда я просто гуляю по улицам. Люди смотрят на меня, видят во мне известную личность и проявляют ко мне уважение.
2. Две девушки с которыми я пою начинали сами работать над песней, но потом попросили меня присоединиться к ним. И я стал членом группы, заканчивали песню мы уже втроем. Наш педагог по вокалу и продюсер помогли нам создать песню. Но мы многое сделали и сами. Мы решали, какая должна быть тема песни и сами писали ее текст.
3. Наши продюсеры привнесли в нее новый бит, который создает более диско стиль у песни. Она теперь более захватывающая и думаю, что будет делать счастливыми всех, кто услышит ее по радио. Я очень доволен результатом. Я не должен был бы делать это по-другому и, безусловно, не смог бы сделать это еще лучше!
4. Нет, я не могу ничего сказать об этом, так что это наш магический секрет;)
5. Моя цель - стать известным певцом. Возможно, это звучит немного странно, но я хотел бы стать таким же известным, как Джастин Бибер. И, конечно, я стремлюсь к победе! Это очень приятно быть частью этой группы и зайти уже так далеко, иметь возможность делать то, что мы сейчас все делаем, но все же самым большим достижением была бы победа на этом конкурсе

Я смотрю Junior Eurovision Songfestival каждый год. У меня нет каких-то кумиров из прошлых лет, но я думаю, что Жанна была действительно хороша.

1. Да, действительно. Я участвовала в "Kinderen voor Kinderen", но это гораздо большее шоу. Пока не изменилось многое. Моя неделя стала более занятой, и как артист я вызываю большее внимание. Люди продолжают задавать вопросы типа: Прошли ли вы в следующий раунд? и Ты девушка из Junior Songfestival, верно?
2. Сначала моя подруга Юн и я мы начали писать песню вдвоем. Но потом мы решили добавить рэп часть в песню поэтому мы попросили Мерийна присоединиться к нам, он очень хороший рэппер. Нам немного помогали с ее написанием, но Юн, Мерийн и я - мы придумали тему песни и сами написали ее текст.
3. Наш голоса теперь звучат громче и в песню добавили несколько звуковых. Это очень здорово звучит сейчас! Но странно слышать, как это было раньше и как это стало звучать сейчас. Вы действительно не узнаете уже нашу старую песню!
4. Название песни "Magie", поэтому я надеюсь, что наши действия будут как-то связаны с магией и жонглированием. Немного жонглирования как в "Ханс Клоке" было бы прекрасно.
5. Да, я хочу добиться попадания в европейский финал. Тогда я буду полностью счастлива. Но я должна сказать, что, уже быть в полуфинале национального конкурса это действительно круто. После конкурса я определенно хочу продолжать петь. Я не уверена, что это будет в этой же маленькой группе. Может быть, я хочу начать сольную карьеру, но это все еще очень неточно. Я точно знаю, я не буду останавливаться и буду продолжать петь!
6. У всех есть шанс попасть на европейский финал, поэтому надо тщательно готовиться. Я думаю, что это не будет обычным выступлением, ведь нас ждет переполненный зал. Жаль, что вся группа финалистов не может отправиться в Армению. Тогда чувства были бы другими. Мы отлично ладим между собой и будет очень одиноко без их поддержки. И, конечно, я всегда следила за Европейскими финалами. Мой любимый участник - Ральф. Я встречалась с ним однажды и он очень милый.

1. Да, я также принимала участие в "Kinderen Voor Kinderen", но это шоу уже намного больше. Моя жизнь не изменилась. Люди на улицах пока еще не кричат, завидев меня, и не преследуют. Может быть так будет когда-то, думаю меня начнут больше узнавать после показа полуфинала.
2. Нам немного помогли с написанием песни, но мы сами придумали ее тему. Я поклонница жонглирования и поэтому мы назвали нашу песню "Magie". Сначала мы написали текст, а после этого наши продюсеры добавили мелодию.
3. "Это был очень волнующий момент, когда мы услышали новую версию. Они не изменили текст песни вообще. Только мелодия немного отличается, песня стала немного более быстротемповой и эта новость нам понравилась. Работа с продюсерами прошла очень быстро и все было сделано за доли секунды
4. Потому что название песни "Magie", я думаю, что было бы хорошо, если бы в нашем акте принял участие жонглер, который делал бы некоторые интересные трюки или что-то вроде этого. Я также хочу нескольких танцоров, но для меня комфортно и выступить просто втроем.
5. Да, конечно, я хотела бы выиграть. Но я думаю, что это все хотят. Как было бы круто иметь возможность представлять свою страну на таком конкурсе как Детское Евровидение. Я хотела бы показать миру, на что я способна. Кроме того, "быть знаменитым" кажется мне очень интересным. Но не слишком знаменитой, ведь я все еще хочу гулять нормально в моем родном городе.
6. Я даже не могу описать, насколько я люблю смотреть Детское Евровидение. Я слежу за ним с самого начала. Пчелы были очень смешными.
Мы должны много репетировать, если мы станем теми счастливчиками, что поедут в Армению. Наша неделя будет очень напряженной, но мы узнаем много новых людей. Я думаю, что язык не станет препятствием, мы справимся с этой проблемой.
7. Если вы хотите принять участие, всегда пробуйте! Я не ожидала сама зайти так далеко и попасть туда, где я сейчас. Продолжайте пробовать, и кто знает, как получится у вас!

Яссир Арсалан
1. Да, это так. Я уже один раз подавал заявку на участие в Junior Songfestival и попал в число 30 кандидатов, но в конце-концов не вышел в телевизионную часть. Поэтому, конечно, сейчас попадание в полуфинал - для меня это нечто особенное. Ты становишься известным и люди начинают следить за тобой, получаешь больше сообщеия в Hyves, Ping, Mail и т.д. - количество поклонников растет очень быстро. Существует одна девушка, которая следует за мной каждый день.
2. Какой-то особой истории у моей песни нет. Я уже довольно долгое время пишу песни и написал этот текст задолго до того, как отправил его на отбор. Когда регистрационный период уже заканчивался, я решил попробовать снова. Мне 15 лет и для меня это была последняя возможность. Я полностью сам написал песню без какой либо помощи.
3. У песни сейчас совсем другой бит. И мои продюсеры, Yes-R и Dutch Brownie также поменяли припев. Вышло круто, мне нравится. Работать с этими парнями просто здорово. Они рэпперы с большим опытом, так что это хорошая возможность для меня - учиться у них. Они не были строгими вообще, все было очень комфортно.
4. Все, остается тайной!
5. Моя цель в получении удовольствия. Как пойдет. Тяжело что-то планировать, посмотрим чем все закончится. Я здесь не затем, чтобы победить на конкурсе. Попадание в полуфиналы уже победа сама-собой. Конечно, победтить было бы классно, но это не главная причина зачем я здесь.
6. Это будет очень большое и красивое шоу! Это неповторимый жизненный опыт, поэтому я был бы очень рад возможность попасть на такую сцену. Я слежу за конкурсом каждый год, но я не могу припомнить каких-то особенных фаворитов.

1. Определенно, если говорить о пении. Это супер круто быть на телевидении и в финале восьми. Я никогда не заходил так далеко в каких-то либо проектах. Может быть, правда это потому, что я вообще первый раз участвую в чем-то вроде этого... На сегодня моя жизнь еще не сильно изменилась. Мне приходится много путешествовать по Нидерландам для телевизионных записей, но у меня остается свободное время. Я думаю, что когда начнутся телевизионные концерты, я буду более занят, и меня будут узнавать на улицах.
2. Это мое хобби писать тексты. Я пишу сам, но часто я пишу их со своим другом из моего класса. Раньше они были на английском языке, поэтому и моя песня "Ik denk aan jou" была первоначально написана на английском языке. Моя мама подсказала мне, что надо попробовать писать тексты на голландском, чтобы попасть на Junior Songfestival. Я полностью сам написал песню и придумал мелодию на своих клавишных. Я даже брал дополнительные уроки игры на них, чтобы моя песня стала лучше.
3. Мой продюсер сделало ее более быстро-темповой, и он добавил в песню некую историю. Теперь это не просто понедельник, вторник, среда и т.д. Я очень доволен изменениями. Песня более захватывающая сейчас, она немного обработана, и звучит более позитивно. Мне уже немного начинала надоедать старая песня, так то сейчас все отлично!
4. Организаторы подготовят специальные номера для всех финалистов, поэтому я пока не знаю точно, что ждет меня. Я думаю, что первый куплет и припев песни я буду петь за клавишными. И потом когда повышается ритм, я думаю, что я буду немного двигаться по сцене. Правда я предпочту не танцевать, потому что пение и танцы одновременно - очень сложно. Я надеюсь, что в моем номере будут другие участники, играющие на инструментах, потому что в аранжировке моей песни инструментов очень много.
5. Я уже достиг своей цели. Я нахожусь в стадии теле выступлений! То, что я испытываю сейчас настолько классно и, конечно, было бы даже лучше, если бы я выиграл конкурс, но этого заслуживают и другие финалисты. Мы все стали друзьями. И я знаю, что это было изначально соперничество, но сейчас оно уже не ощущается.
6. Я думаю, это будет особая неделя полная сюрпризов. Конечно, акцент делается на большом субботнем вечере, но во время евронедели запланировано очень много интересного. Это было бы очень особенным моментом - встретиться с участниками из других стран. С ними можно было бы поговорить о музыке, потому что у нас всех есть общие интересы. Может быть правда с языком были бы проблемы. Я в школе учу английский, но пока мы учим только общие фразы. Думаю, пришлось бы попрактиковатся заранее.
7. Нет сомнения, если вы хотите добиться такого же результата - просто напишите песню и подайте ее на отбор! И не расстраивайтесь, если вы не выйдете в финал, потому что участие в этом конкурсе - это уже победа сама по себе.

Лидевей Лоот
1. Да, это мое самое большое достижение в пении. Иногда меня узнают, но это пока еще не изменило мою жизнь. Думаю, что будут больше после телеэфиров.
2. Когда однажды мне не спалось утром я начала писать текст моей песни. И потом мой педагого по вокалу помогла мне в работе над ней. Я придумала тему и текст песни, а она помогла мне правильно их спеть.
3. Он сделал припев на один тон выше и в песне теперь три части. Мы добавили в припев несколько слов. Теперь там также есть более длинные проигрыши. Я довольна изменениями. Песня стала более спонтанной. Вы подумаете что-то вроде: ""Вау, это что, припев?"
4. На данный момент мы не знаем точно какими будут наши номера, но я могу сказать чего бы я хотела. Ну несколько танцоров мальчиков было бы круто. Девочки бы тоже подошли :) Я бы хотела, чтобы это было большим и зрелищным шоу.
5. Я хочу показать миру, кто я, и что я могу сделать. На самом деле такой же и месседж моей песни. Я думаю, было бы отлично, стать действительно известной, но если это не сработает, то опыт попадания в это шоу и возможность петь - уже отличные достижения. Конечно, я мечтаю победить на этом конкурсе. Кто бы не хотел поехать в Армению?
6. Я не знаю, если участники в Армении также станут друзьями в течение этой недели. Это будет немного сложно из-за языка. Но неделя будет классной! Я думаю, они будут очень заняты интервью, репетициями номера, раскруткой своей страны и тд.
Я смотрю Детское Евровидение почти каждый раз. Иногда не получается, но я всегда пытаюсь. Я помню двух девочек со свистульками, правда не помню как их звали. Не могу назвать какой-то номер, который бы произвел на меня большое впечатление. Правда, надо сказать, мне очень понравилась "Baby Gaga", очень интересно она имитировала Леди Гагу и было очень смешно.

Люди смотрят на меня на улице и спрашивают: Это ты с Junior Songfestival, не так ли? и я буду голосовать за тебя. Я немного застенчивая, поэтому чаще всего я просто улыбаюсь им и иду дальше. Я думаю, в дальнейшем внимания ко мне будет даже больше. Я получаю очень много реакция на мой твиттер. У меня уже более 1390 фолловеров. Я не звала их присоединяться, но их становится больше день ото дня. Круто, теперь я настоящая Twitterqueen!
2. Моя мама сказала мне, что я потратила столько времени на твиттер и назвала меня Twitterqueen. И тогда я подумала, что это хорошая идея для песни. Я также хотела бы, чтобы у меня были мальчики танцоры.
5. Ну моя цель была фактически просто добраться до полуфинала. И я добилась ее уже, так что теперь я хочу уже победить. Но все участники очень сильные и тоже заслуживают победы. И конечно моя цель попасть на телеэкран, это так здорово.
6. Я думаю, что это время будет крутым. Очень приятно было бы поговорить с детьми из других стран о музыке. Конечно, я надеюсь остаться в контакте на твиттере, после недели в Армении. Прежде всего я думаю, что это будет все очень уютно. Вы будете выступать на огромной сцене, на глазах у тысяч людей в толпе. Я была бы очень польщена возможности представить Нидерланды. Я до сих пор помню номер пчелок, и их собственный язык, это было очень забавно.

1. Да, это была мечта всей моей жизни, но мне пришлось ждать пока я достачно повзрослею. первых, пока я не был достаточно стар. В прошлом году мне наконец исполнилось 10 лет, так что я смогла принять участие и вот я уже попала в полуфиналы. Это невероятно. Моя жизнь пока не сильно изменилась. Но она определенно изменится после концертов
2. Моя мама сидела на нашем диване с гитарой. Она придумала мелодию. А я захотела сделать из нее песню. В начале было немного сложно, но потом мы сели за пианино и стали вместе писать текст, и все пошло легче. Она написала с моей помощью первый куплет, потом я уже сама написала второй куплет и припев. Мелодию мы придумали с помощью пианино и гитары.
3. Мой продюсер Бас не сильно изменил песню. Песня была уже довольно хорошей в ее изначальном варианте. Он только сделал мелодию немного более грубой и интро стало немного длиннее сейчас. В последнем припеве мы решили добавить несколько высоких нот, чтобы сделать песню более особенной.
4. Я пока не знаю. Желательно не слишком много танцев, потому что это трудно петь и танцевать в то же время. Некоторые небольшие движения было бы идеально, конечно. Я надеюсь, что сцена будет заполнена танцорами и полна деятельности, потому что об этом я и пою в своей песне.
5. Я хотела бы продолжать петь и стать немного более знаменитым. Я не хочу быть черезчур знаменитой, потому что тогда я буду сильно занята. А я хочу заниматься и другими делами. Я хочу быть похожей на Деми Ловато. Я ее большая поклонница. Она отлично поет, очень известна, но все-таки может спокойно ходить по улицам и заниматься другими вещами.
6. Я смотрю Детское Евровидение с 2008 года. У меня нет любимых песен, но шоу обычно очень интересные. Неделя в Армении наверняка будет наполнена интервью. Я думаю, что мне было бы сложно там спать, потому что мне всегда тяжело спать в новом месте. Я всегда скучаю по своей подушке...
7. Голосуйте за меня! Я надеюсь, что каждый услышит месседж в моей песне и запомнит его.

Рэйчел Траетс
1. "Да, это, безусловно мое самое большое достижение на сегодня. Но я надеюсь, что это только начало и что придет еще гораздо больше в моем будущем. Пока это все же еще не перевернуло мою жизнь с ног на голову. Я стала более занятой и иногда меня узнают, но я думаю, что чем ближе к концертам, тем больше я буду занята. Но это все равно будет очень приятно!
2. Я решила написать песню о взрослении, потому что я сама стала подростком, и часто слышу от своих друзей, что они стали больше спорить с их родителями и т.д. Так что я хотела написать об этом, потому многим другим детям также приходится через это проходить. Текст и мелодию я написала полностью самостоятельно. Потребовалось не так много усилий, чтобы записать строчки на бумагу. Текст рождался у меня в голове со скоростью ветра. Мелодию записал друг семьи. Я думаю, что все получилось очень хорошо.
3. Они изменили многое. Я думаю, что самым большим изменением стало использование слова Teenager вместо Puber потому, что это звучит более международно. Мне это нравится! Было совсем не сложно принять все изменения, потом что продюсеры очень профессиональны и у них есть необходимые знания и опыт, чтобы сделать хит. Сотрудничество прошло отлично, эти три парня очень веселые, и мы постоянно смеялись в студии.
4. Мне бы хотелось, чтобы со мной были танцоры моего возраста. Немного упрямые подростки, но, конечно, не брутальные. Пока я не знаю, как точно будет выглядеть мой номер.
5. Цель в том, чтобы показать другим людям в нашей стране, что у меня страсть к пению и танцам. Я хотела бы передать мой месседж в песне другим детям. Было бы хорошо, если я выиграю этот конкурс, но я думаю, что мой месседж является более важным, чем победа.
6. Это очень здорово! Тем более, когда вы тот, кто будет представлять Нидерланды. Я видела финалы предыдущих лет. Я думаю, Ральф действительно хорош, но я также помню девушку из Румынии, она пела что-то в стиле атмосферный поп. Как и моя песня.

Полле ван Генехтен
1. Да, и это также единственное, что я когда-либо делал с пением. В первый раз в жизни я пошел на прослушивание. Я думаю, что немного моя жизнь изменилась. Мы постоянно окружены камерами, и постоянно рядом много людей, которые подходят и говорят: Я буду голосовать за тебя и болеть за тебя.
2. Однажды меня выгнали из класса и пока я ждал, в моей голове появилась мелодия. Я очень люблю музыку, и поэтому об этом я и хотел написать свою песню. Ну а дальше все пошло само собой.
3. Мои продюсеры не очень много изменили. Они удвоили припев, добавили паузу, чтобы зрители могли хлопать вместе со мной и добавили инструментальную часть в песню. Я думаю, что теперь песня стала настоящей, более насыщенной и я очень доволен результатом.
4. Я бы хотел, чтобы со мной была группа. Не рок-н-ролл, а группа, которая играет более чувственную музыку. Я бы хотел играть на своей гитаре и предпочел бы не танцевать. Вот как бы я видел это, но я не тот, кто решает.
5. Это было бы здорово - победить, но это не самая важная цель. Моя личная цель дать детям понять, насколько красива музыка. Чтобы стимулировать их самих создавать музыку. Я предпочитаю отдыхать создавая музыку, и я хотел бы поделиться этим с другими музыкантами. Конечно, приятно когда тебя узнают на улице, но я не хотел бы стать известным на всю оставшуюся жизнь. Этот опыт уже большой сам по себе!
6. Когда я думаю о Детском Евровидении, то мне кажется, что неделя будет очен насыщенной. Много работы, но и много веселья. Я думаю, что все хотели бы попасть в Армени, потому что это очень особый момент.  Самым интересным будет музицирование в течение всего дня!
Я не видел все европейские финалы. Смотрел, когда был включен телевизор, и в этот момент я не хотел больше играть на улице. Мне равилось это шоу, но не было ни одного конкретного номера, который понравился мне больше всего.
7. Быть участником Junior Songfestival - очень очень здорово!

Rachel was born on 16/08/98, her song Ik ben een teenager (I'm a teenager) is about period of puberty and being a teenager. Her song will be produced by Future Presidents (behind group song as well, and several JSF entries last year). Rachel loves to sing and wants to show her abilities to other people, while her biggest fans remain her parents and family. She also likes dancing (she dances on Fridays at Body Care and at Doenja and Kids) and acting (she performs at Youth Theater Hofplein in Roosendaal). She is also getting vocal lessons as her aim is to become singer or star of musicals. Her favourite artists are Beyonce, Rihanna and Glennis Grace, and from JESC she liked Lisa, Amy and Shelley best. At home she likes planting flowers in garden and hates cleaning dishes and her room.

Noah was born on 03-08-1998 and her song Twitterqueen is about social networks as Noah is there 24/7. Song will be produced by Allan Eshuijs. She also likes singing, dancing and going on shopping on weekends. She also practices tennis. For many years she has been following JESC and wanted to take part in it, her favourites from past years are Ralf, Lisa, Amy & Shelley, Darcey and of course Caylee. And her favourite artists are Rihanna, Beyonce and Justin Bieber. She likes walking wih her dogs, and worst thing for her is cleaning dishes. She dreams of performing at a crowded Arena, or going to tropical island for a magazine photoshoot.

Yassir was born on 07-06-1996 and he will perform song Beautiful about a real love. It will be produced by Brownie Dutch with help of Yes-R and Ali B. Dancing and singing are his greatest passions, but he also likes playing hockey which he does on Saturdays, and on Sundays he always dance with a group of friends. In future he wants to become singer or enterpreneur. His favourite music genres are R&B and HipHop and his favourites from JESC past are Ralf, Nigel and Renaldo. As all kids he hates cleaning job.

Junme are June (born 22-01-1999), Nikki (12-02-2000) and Merijn (15-10-1999). They will perform song Magie (Magic), which is about world of magic. It will be produced by Dimitri Veltkamp (father of Nikki and husband of vocal coach Babette Labeij). June likes singing, dancing, playing guitar and softball (plays on weekends for OVVO club). Nikki and Merijn like signing and dancing as well, and Merijn also likes playing guitar, swimming and skateboarding. In future they want to become famous and may be continue their singing career. All of the like Justin Bieber, June and Nikki also add Katy Perry, Rihanna and Glee, while Merijn John Mayer, Mika and Eminem From JESC June likes Klaartje & Nicky and Cleo, Nikki prefers Lisa, Amy and Shelley and Marijn likes Zanna. All of them totally hate cleaning therir rooms and washing dishes, but June sometimes does cooking and Merijn helps with car washing.    

Joel was born on 04-09-1999 and his song is Ik denk aan jou (I am thinking of you) about a girl he is thinking all the time. His song will be produced by Tjeerd Oosterhuis (man behind entries of Ralf, Tess, Anna & Senna etc). His biggest hobby is of course singing and he sings whole day long, in shower, on bike, everywhere. He also does breakdancing and is playing basketball. In future he wants to become TV host and famous singer with millions of fans. His favourite artists are Bruno Mars and Alain Clark. He has been following JESC since 2004 and decided to enter himself. His favourties are Klaartje and Nicky, Nigel from 2006 and Cleo from 2005. He hates cleaning dishes and likes messing in his room. 

Sera was born on 07-07-2000 and will perform Never give up (produced by Bas Van Der Heuvel) which is about her hobbies that puts her busy all the time - singing (she also sings in a church for children), dancing (she takes dance lessons on weekends), playing flute, horse riding. Her favourite singer is Rachael Lampa, and her dream is to become singer and musical star, she loves performing on a stage for people. In JESC her favourites were Melissa, Senna & Anna and of course Rosa. She likes unloading dish washing machine and setting table the way she likes. She dreams of flying and going to Armenia for JESC.

Lidewei was born on 03-03-1999 and will perform sing Dit is wat ik wil (This is what I want) about enjoying the life which will be produced by Tjeerd van Zanen. As all perticipants she adores singing and dancing, and she also likes acting and violin playing. She usually spends weekends with her friends. She doesn't practice any sports at the moment but thinks of going to fooball. She likes English language music from artists like Caro Emerald or Lady Gaga. Similarly to all kids she hates washing dishes. In future she wants to become singer or actress of musicals.

Polle is born on 28-05-1999 and will perform song Music in my heart about his love to music, which will be produced by Fluitsma & Van Tijn (behind 1993 and 1998 entries in ESC and several songs in JSF). He also likes meeting children who also make music as he wants to learn from them He plays basketball and goes to gym with his dad. his favourite artist is Jason Mraz and from JESC he likes Bram, who also plays guitar. He likes cutting grass on a lawn tractor with his uncle and as everyone hates washing. In future he wants to become an artist and win Junior Eurovision.

Now songs will be recorded professionally with help of well-known producers, also there will be recorded group song "Yeah" produced by Future Presidents. The scheme is expected to be unchanged from last year - two semi-finals in September (preliminary dates 17 and 24) and final in October (preliminary on 1st) with four candidates, the first two proceed to the final. Through the Internet, wildcard is chosen. 

Теперь их песни будут записаны профессионально, при помощи известных продюсеров, также будет записана групповая песня "Yeah" от продюсеров Future Presidents. Ожидается, что схема отбора останется неизменной - два полуфинала в сентябре (предварительные даты - 17 и 24 сентября) и финал в октябре (предварительно 1е) из 4х кандидатов, где по 2 лучших выйдут в финал. Пятый финалист будет отобран интернет голосованием.

В Голландии прием заявок продлится до 14 апреля. Как и в большинстве других стран, участие разрешается только с новыми оригинальными и ранее не выпускавшимися композициями, только на голландском языке c возможными незначительными вкраплениями других языков. Подать песню можно как в интернете, так и по почте. Те, кто подает заявку онлайн, автоматически становятся участниками специального конкурса, где два лучших участника также присоединятся к тем, кто будет отобран для кастингов жюри. 7-8 мая состоится первая стадия кастингов.
