Ну что сказать про Нидерланды? Семь лет эта страна упорно не попадает в финал, думаю, что и этот год не исключение. Ничего не имею против Джоан Франка, она очень милая, да и песня у неё в принципе неплохая, но немного скучная, теряется после фантастического выступления Македонии, да и Мальта её перекроет, которая выступает сразу после неё.

Посередине сцены стоит сама Джоан. За ней бэк-вокалистка с бубеном, а на абсолютно противоположном конце сцены, можно сказать даже на отшибе, стоят четыре музыканта: скрипач, гитарист, баянист, и один, играющий на чём-то, напоминающем балалайку. Правда под конец песни и музыканты, и бэк-вокалистка подходят вплотную к Джоан и заканчивают её они вместе.

Песня, как я уже сказал, скучная, однако овацию в зале вызвала, может потому, что туда прибежали все голландские журналисты.

В принципе, написать больше нечего. Остаётся в полуфинале.

Looks absolutely amazing, the song has it's drive, which unfortunately lack most of the rock entries this year, black and white staging there. And it walks over Serbian entry which is preceding it. Would be problem for Zeljko if it was running order in final. Put a bet on qualifying and thinking to put each-way bet on it in finals.

The above lines have never been so relevant as nowadays, in 2012. The world population has reached 7 billion lately. Technological innovation is continuously increasing parallel to diversification, hatred and estrangement. Mankind is at the crossroads. We can choose to continue with the irresponsible production and consumption, the crazy rush for possessing more and more, or we can choose to recognize our responsibility for our actions and behaviour. We will realize that through our decisions we can change ourselves and so we can change our direct and indirect environment. Luckily enough, we are more and more who chose to change and wake up from the daydream we called life. We decided to go for the real human values with our words and acts. Values such as honesty, sympathy, caring, consciousness and obviously LOVE.

It may seem special that this song is performed by a Hungarian band, however, those who know a bit the close past of our country are not surprised, as diversification and lack of love is now pretty common in Hungary. Despite the fact, that Hungary is over-represented in the news nowadays, we don't feel bothered. People in Hungary, in the heart of Europe, where the Heart Chakra is, just do want the same as any other human being: peace, love, freedom and happiness.

Compact Disco has four members, coming from three religions: two Christians, one Muslim and one Jew, proving that different religions can live together, let alone they can unite for the same goal. It is a great pleasure that the band can prove itself in Azerbaijan, in a country where people consider Hungarians their brother nation. Compact Disco go to Baku in order to show their compatriots and the whole of Europe the strength of unity and love through their song.
