ESCKAZ took interview with Georgian representative Mariam Kakhelishvili. She appeared to us as shy, but very beautiful and extremely talented girl.
She told that her song is about her, it has name Mari inside, and Dari means good weather in Georgian. She wants to give good emotions with her song, so everybody start dancing and singing. She has informed that song has been created by her together with her producers, and she wanted the song to be first of all catchy and dancy. She loves original costumes created for her by Sasha Prishvin and Marika. She also has enjoyed filming of her first ever music video, though it took two full days, it was very enjoyable. On stage she is joined by her friends from show ballet Vernisazh.
Mariam thinks that today has been the most amazing day in her live - meeting Belarus kids at Friendship classes, who already knew her song by heart, were singing and dancing with her, brought a lot of posters to support her - and it made her feeling like a star. Her biggest wish is not to win the contest, but to introduce music and culture of Georgia to the world.
Mariam also sang for us two songs: Listen and her contest entry Mari Dari.

Under More - meeting JESC 2008 winners - Bzikebi
Bzikebi have told us that they have already grown up, but still from time to time perform their entry Bzzz, though they have to change costumes as they are growing. They enjoy the popularity and working with Bzikebi Studio of Giga Kukhianidze, who have produced their debut CD and several videos. They are happy to return to JESC and to Minsk, and they would like to get more new friends again. They also performed Mariam's entry Mari Dari.
