Escape Metalcorner hosted another important event in Vienna yesterday, being a first of series of "No False Metal" concerts.
The show featured performances from Austrian band Roadwolf https://www.facebook.com/roadwolfmusic , Concreo https://www.facebook.com/concreo and Portuguese band Midnight Priest - all of them performing in classic heavy metal style without anything false as the title suggests.
Centrally (walk distance from Stadthalle) venue hosts metal bar with both smoking and non-smoking rooms (but no dark beer!) and concert venue in the underground room (with another bar of course). The acoustics has been pretty good and rarely for the metal venues it has great ventilation, it wasn't smoky or hot inside, so everyone could have the best rock night possible. Cheap entrance price of 9 Euro as well for quite a good show.
Quite an interesting thing is that the audience was pretty young with at least half of them being females. Some of them were very lovely. There seems to be a future of rock music in Austria seeing it.
There was also quite a lot of merchandise from Portuguese guests, massive number of T-Shirts, CD (got it) and LP. I wished for the opportunity to get some demos from their Austrian colleagues as well, but well, may be next time.
