New Star Music sings "Povestea Mea" (My Story): Peter Pan, Spider Man, Harry Potter and Prince Charming will sing for Romania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that will be held on December 2nd, in Bucharest (Romania). The four most beloved characters from movies, stories and fairy tales, united in Romania in the New Star Music group, have conquered the jury and viewers with their song "My Story" and they obtained the highest score among the 21 songs participating in the Romanian selection. New Star Music group is formed of two boys and two girls, each of them impersonating one of their most beloved heroes: Teodora Roxana Sima is Peter Pan, Diana Ioana Prepelita is Spider Man, Liviu Mircea Teodorescu is Harry Potter and the group leader, Cristian Sanda-Gorun is Prince Charming.

Despite the fact that their ages range between 12 and 14, the four young artists have a serious music educational background and an impressive experience on stage. All four take classes not only for singing, but also for playing a musical instrument, and have participated in several TV shows, concerts and music festivals. For example, Cristian studies piano and guitar and his talent in vocal music has been awarded with 12 trophies in national and international music festivals for children in Romania and abroad, in Bulgaria (Children's Mamaia Festival, The Golden Dolphin etc.). Diana also studies piano and guitar and she is the proud owner of 17 awards in different music festivals (the most recent is the International Pop Music Festival for Children "TI AMO", in May 2006).

Teodora plays piano and has "only" eight trophies in different festivals, while Liviu, besides his collection of awards, has a long experience of singing in three very prestigious Romanian children musical groups: Allegretto, Andantino and Addagio. More than that, Liviu is currently a TV star, appearing weekly on the national TV show for children named "Only with the Approval of the Under Aged". The song to represent Romania was chosen based on the votes received from the public by televoting (50%) and from the jury (50%), formed of seven members. The selection was organised by Romanian Television (TVR).

As Diana is from Iasi, 500 km from Bucharest, and Cristian is from Craiova, 300 km from Bucharest, it is not easy for band to meet for rehearsals, but they are very happy for taking part in JESC. In 2005 band also took part in the national contest and finished runner-up.

Питэр Пэн, Гарри Поттер, Человек-Паук и Сказочный принц стали первыми участниками Детского Евровидения 2006 - они победили на Румынском отборе набрав максимальное количество голосов в телеголосовании и заняв 2е место в голосовании жюри.
Кристиан Санда-Горун (Сказочный принц) играет на гитаре и фортепиано, и получил 12 премий за вокальные выступления на национальных и международных фестивалях в Румынии и Болгарии.
Диана Йоана Препелица (Человек Паук) - также изучает фортепиано и гитару и завоевала 17 наград.
Теодора Роксана Сима (Питер Пэн) играет на пианино и имеет в своем багаже 8 премий различных фестивалей.
Ливия Мирча Теодореску (Гарри Поттер) помимо премий имеет опыт выступлений в самых популярных детских коллективах Румынии Allegretto, Andantino и Addagio. В настоящее время он также является соведущим детского телешоу на национальном телевидении.
Всем участникам группы от 12 до 14 лет. Поскольку два участника группы проживают в 300 и 500 километрах от Бухареста, и всем участникам приходится ходить в школу - для них репетиции - достаточно редкое явление, но группа счастлива возможности заявить о себе всей Европе.
В 2005 году New Star Music уже участвовали в национальном отборе и тогда заняли второе место.

National Romanian preselection for Junior Eurovision 2006 will take place on June 1st at 20:15 local time on TVR. 45 songs were submitted, 21 were allowed to proceed to the final.
