 12-years old (born 19.09.1999) Dalita Avanessian studies in Music
school #1 named after Alexander Spendaryan of Yerevan in three classes: piano, guitar and
vocals. She also studies in theatrical studio of Artashes Alexanian and was the youngest
actor in his theater performance of "Court of Armenia - Court of the whole
mankind". She has baggage of 6 songs which are included in various CD compilations
and have music videos, among them such hits as "Bari Aravot", "Hayastan", some of which
were written by Dalita herself.  In 2007 she won Alexander Spendaryan festival for young
performers, in 2009 she won first prize at the contest "Golden Reed", in 2009
and 2010 she took part in "Armenian
Dance Olympics" winning golden medal, in 2010 and 2011 took part in "Nor Aliq" contest -
Armenian preselection for the New Wave, in 2010 she qualified to top 5 in the national
preselection for Junior Eurovision,
in 2011 she was awarded first national children's prize for The Best Hit. She is also known as participant of children beauty and elegance contests. In 2005 she was awarded "Miss Yerevan" and then "Little Miss Armenia", in 2006 won the nomination "Miss Advertising" for her participation in various commercials, in 2007 - "Miss Talent", in 2008 participates in "Miss and Mister World" and gets certificate of honour, in 2009 becomes "Miss Top Model" and was awarded special prize by boxer Alex Abraham.  Dalita also hosted "Baby News" section in the
morning show of 2nd Armenian television channel "Good Morning Armenians", she
also was reporter for "Bumbumik
show". Now she playes role of Charlita in TV show "Charlie Show" on
"Armenia TV". She also has her own column in youth magazine "Yes" as
"Dalita and friends". In 2010 she took part in TV contest of Shant channel "Hidden Talent" where has qualified to the semifinals stage and took part in the gala concert. She has also starred in several episodes of "Shilashpot" TV series on Shant TV. She sings, dances, is engaged in music, plays piano and guitar, loves sports (tennis and swimming). In her spare time she likes to read books, play games, watch her favorite cartoons and movies. "My teacher advised me to listen every kind of music . Now I'm concentrated on pop music, but I have classic basis. I like Miley Cyrus", says Dalita. "Because contest is taking place in Armenia, I wanted to write the song welcoming everyone to our country. In it I was helped by my vocal coach Emma Asatryan", says Dalita. Entry has been produced by Ani Kochar productions, costumes for the show have been designed by Lilit Margaryan. At the national final Dalita has been backed by dancers Robert, Raqelle, Elen and Meliq. "It is really responsible step for me to host so many
countries in Armenia, and to represent it too", says Dalita adding that "the
performance will be improved, but the dancers will be the same. Perhaps the dresses will
be changed a bit. But anyway everything will be in the same style". |

(родилась 19.09.1999) Далита Аванесян учиться в "музыкальной
школе № 1" им. Александра Спендаряна, в трех
различных направлениях, фортепиано, вокал и
гитара. На ее счету 6 песен и видеоклипов, которые
включены в различных CD, DVD музыкальных коллекций,
включая такие хиты как "Bari Aravot", "Hayastan", часть
из которых она написала сама. Сейчас также
занимается в Театре-студии Арташеса Алексаняна,
в спектакле "Суд армян - суд всего человечества"
стала самым молодым актером в действующем
составе театра.
Также Далита принимала участие во многих конкурсах красоты и элегантности. В 2005 стала "Мисс Ереван", в том же году приняла участие в республиканском конкурсе "Мисс, Мистер Мира" красоты и элегантности где стола "Мисс Армения", в 2006 г. выиграла номинацию "Мисс реклама" (за свое участие в в разных рекламных роликах), в 2007г выиграла титул "Мисс Талант", В 2008г. на конкурсе “Мисс и Мистер Мира” удостоилась сертификата “Почетного члена”, в 2009г стала "Мисс Топ-модель" и была награждена специальным призом от знаменитого боксера Алекса Абрахама.
В 2010г участвовала в телевизионном конкурсе телеканала "Шант" "Скрытый талант", где представляя свои навыки вышла в полуфинал и приняла участие в гала-концерте. Снялась в многих эпизодах сериала “Шилашпот” в телеканале "Шант" программа для детей Ералаш. Различные выступления Далиты
можно увидеть на Сейчас Далита учится в школе на отлично. Она поет, танцует, занимается музыкой, играет на фортепиано и на гитаре, любит спорт (большой теннис и плавание). В свободное время любит читать книги, играть в компьютерные игры, смотреть любимые мультфильмы и кинофильмы. "Мой педагог советует мне слушать разнообразную музыку. Сейчас я в основном концентрируюсь на поп музыке, но у меня классические основы. Мне нравится Майли Сайрус", говорит Далита. "Поскольку конкурс проходит в Армении, я захотела написать песню, которая приветствовала бы всех в нашей стране. В этом мне помогла мой педагог по вокалу Эмма Асатрян", говорит Далита. Песню спродюсировали Ani Kochar productions, дизайн костюмов Лилит Маргарян. На национальном отборе вместе с Далитой выступили танцоры Роберт, Ракель, Элен и Мелик. | - Hello, Dalita, and first of all our congratulations for
winning Armenian national selection! What were your first thoughts when you realized you
are the winner of the competition? - Thank you very much for your congratulations! It was like a dream for me! When I heard my name I was very excited that I couldn’t even stop my tears. I’m very happy and proud that I’ll represent the first Junior Eurovision in my own country. - Please introduce yourself in one sentence? - I’m a friendly person, I’m eager waiting to say “Welcome to Armenia” to all participants. - Can you tell us about the story of the song creation? - We thought to create an appropriate song and the main idea was to invite all people to Armenia. One of my teachers Emma Asatryan has helped me to create the song, the instrumentation of which was done by Martin Mirzoyan, and zurna (traditional Armenian instrument) is performed by Vardan Grigoryan. - Who is your vocal coach and choreographer of your entry? - Dear Emma Asatryan is my vocal coach, the director of our performance is Vahan Badalyan and our choreographer is Nelly Karapetyan, dress designed by Lilit Margaryan. - Can you also introduce the backing dancers, who accompanied you on stage? - Our airline is called "Dream Airlines", the Capitan of the crew is Meliq, the co-pilot is Robert, Georgy is the steward, I’m the stewardess and two hostesses are Elen & Elen :) - How will you visually present your entry on stage? Will it be similar performance as during Armenian national selection final, or is there plan to add any visual effects for the international audience to understand better your song? - I think it will be the same performance with more light effects and maybe other surprises :) - What is your plan of preparations for the contest? - I’m working hardly with my team, we’re doing everything to be well prepared and to could present our country in the contest at the best possible level. - How do you feel with Armenia being a host country, does it add any extra pressure on you? - I’m very happy and it’s an honour for me to represent the first Junior Eurovision in my country and I feel more responsibility in front of my people and my spectators. - Can you tell us, how looks your basic day? What activities do you usually have? - I’m occupied with my lessons, with my vocal, guitar & piano’s tranings, and also with my team and dancers every day we repeat our performance show, when I have free time I enjoy to watch TV, I keep myself updated by videos or articles from Wikipedia & Youtube, and also play computer games, then I check my INET’s personal accounts to be in contact wih my friends and fans and answer their questions. - What are your favourite school subjects? - History, languages, maths, geography. - Have you received any advice from the previous Armenian JESC entrants? - In the Armenian national slection contest when they announced my name Vladimir Arzumanyan the winner of JESC 2010 gave me his congratulations and also I got best wishes from Andre the first Armenian representative in ESC 2006, both of them wished me good luck and to have excellent performance. - Do you have some favourite entries from the past years of the JESC? - There were many nice children, I liked most of them. - Are you interested to find who will represent other countries in competition, will you listen to the other competing entries? - Of course I’m interested, I’ve listen their songs and I’ve read their biographies. All of them are good, all participants are trained very well, but if I was an ordinary TV viewer, I vote in favor of Russia, but when all the participants arrive in Armenia, I will do everything to make friends and we spend a good time, and so they keep only good impressions of Armenia. - What is your aim for the contest? Are you going to win it, or simply have good time and make new friends? - I just wish to could excellent represent my country, of course the specialized juries and the Europian people will choose the most deserving one, and I wanna make new friends and enjoy my time with my guests and to say them “welcome to Armenia”. - Do you like contests and to compete in general? What is most memorable festival you took part in besides Eurovision? - I usually participate to the contests because I get more experience and I learn new things and specially I know more people and I get new friends. The last and the most memorable one for me is the Armenian Dance Olympiad 2010 where I got the 1st place with my Armenian national dance. - Are you performing many original songs, what is your regular repertoire is made of? - I have 6 original songs in different genres that are included in various CD, DVD music collections. - What music do you typically like listening to? What are your favourite local and international singers? - My coach advised me to listen very much and different kindes of musics and singers. - What are your plans after the contest? Do you want to become professional singer in future? - Actually I’m just occupied by JESC, of course I’ll continue and I wish to be professional singer and in beside I also would like to have another qualification. She has met her fans at several Yerevan schools: on October 15th at French school #119 (photos), on 22nd of October at A.Spendaryan special music school (video, photos), on October 26th in her own school in Almanakh (video, photos), on November 16th at V.Petrosyan school #51 and then again in Almanakh (1, 2, 3, 4video); appeared at Barev menq enq show (1, 2, 3), Blef show, Kentron TV (1, 2), Barev yerkir (1, 2) and also gave series of interviews to local media: Hayfanat, A1+, starslife.am, mocak.am and several other TV, radio and printed media interviews; meanwhile continuing her music training (video). | У представительницы Армении Далиты выдался весьма напряженный месяц. Though public broadcaster of Armenia is yet to publish full list of finalists of the
national preselection, today 3 of them were named in the news broadcast of another
Armenian channel A1+. The pupils of Yury Bakhshyan Children's Philharmonic - Maria Yenokyan "Nor erg", Milena Vardanyan "Stop" and Monica Navasardyan "Slatsik qami" - will participate in the selection round. Talking to A1+, Producer of "Style" ensemble Nona Babajanyan said the during presentation of the songs girls will be accompanied by dancers from the same Philarmonic and work on staging has already started. Babajanyan adds that as according to the rules of preselection songs should be self-written, well-known Armenian composers have been invited to help the participants with their useful advice during song creation, such as Gisane Palyan. Participants are also practicing joint song that they will perform together during the preselection final. Update: ESCKAZ also believes that vocal studio "Do-Re-Mi" will have 4 entries in the national final, trio song and 3 solo songs by the members of the trio Nadezhda Sargsyan, Meri Arzumanyan and Sona Gyulhasyan. |

Submissions period for the participation in the Armenian national preselection 2011 has
come to an end. As head of delegation of Armenia Gohar Gasparyan has noted, the
application are still being studied. On 17th of September national preselection tour of Junior Eurovision in Armenia will take place. Maximum of 15 performers will take part in it. Contrary to the earlier statement, it has been decided to organize national preselection in one stage. According to Gasparyan, this was done because organizers do not want to put additional stress on the participants. |

press conference about Junior Eurovision 2011 was held at the Dvin hall of Ani Plaza
hotel. The Executive producer of JESC Levon Simonyan, the Producer Grigor Nazaryan and the
Head of delegations Gohar Gasparyan presented the logo and the slogan of the contest to
the journalists and spoke about the actions that have already been taken place and shared
the future plans. Deadline for submissions to take part in Armenian national preselection that has originally expired yesterday has been moved to August 20th. Around 50 applications have been received, but producers of ArmTV believe that due to summer and holidays many children were not able to submit their entries in time. National selection of Armenia has been preliminary set for September 18-20 and will likely include two semifinals and final show, informed producer of ArmTV Grigor Nazarian. |

Уже было получено около 50 заявок, но продюсеры ОТА полагают, что из-за лета и каникул многие дети не смогли вовремя их отправить. Национальный отбор Армении был предварительно назначен на 18-20 сентября и скорее всего будет включать в себя два полуфинала и финальное шоу, рассказал продюсер канала Григор Назарян. |
