Interview

Friday evening in London, in the heart of one of the Polish community areas, with Kasia Moś in an intimate gig for selected fans, family and media. What’s not to enjoy!

Kasia was elected a while back now to sing for Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv in May. But that is not the whole story, an established artist in her own right, she has produced lots of music in her career so far, with the album Inspination available for a while now. This intimate gig in Bar/Club Mikrus in South London was a chance for her to showcase some of this album, and also perform some cover versions.

Approximately 100 people crowded into the small venue to her Kasia sing, and judging by the reactions of some of them, some hard core fans of her’s were present too.

Kasia started off with Experience, followed by Strep, and Addiction before finishing up the first half of the gig with Flashlight. A quick break, mostly spent at the bar by us, and then she came back with another 6 or so songs, finally finishing up with Flashlight again as an encore.

The range of styles and vocal abilities of Kasia really surprised us, she can really sing, even in this small venue, with not great sound, you can hear her range and emotion in her singing.

After the brief set, Kasia then spent time talking to fans and local community leaders for about 30 minutes. A great way to interact with the folks that came to see her.

The three songs we publish in full and a medley of the rest of the set can be found here:
