| Maria
Haukaas Storeng was born on 3rd of August 1979 in Lakselvnes Senja (Norway), but now she
lives in Oslo. Already as a 3 year old Maria decided to be a popstar. She dressed up in her mums high heels and pink lipstick and sang her heart out. Even though Maria decided her career as a 3 year old, she had wait to she was 5 for her first performance. That found place at her brothers concert at Lenvik Music School. She stole the show but she didn't know what to do when she got applause, she rolled down from the stage so no one could she her blushing. She became a student at the same school in 1986-1994 where she played the piano. She got the part as Annie in the musical with the same name in November 1991. The show went on Bryggeteateret in Oslo. During this period Maria lived in Oslo. But she later moved back to Senja to start High School. When she was 16 she and her family moved to Oslo again. From that time she played in several musicals. She's also been in Beat For Beat Tone For Tone (A Norwegian Music program) three times, and in "Larsens Spesial" and "Du Skal Hore Mye" with Rune Larsen (Also a Norwegian Tv show). She's been a student at Foss Videregaende Skole (High School) in Oslo, and she's been a student at Baardar (Bardarakademiet) Academy, which is a music school. She's also worked in Wallmans Salonger and Blue Moon Bar in Oslo(Norway) and Stockholm(Sweden). Then in 2004 she where one of 7000 in the Norwegian Idol. She became number 6 of the 10 last finalists. But it didn't stop there, in 2005 her debut album "Breathing" came out. Her fist single with the same name as her album where 11 weeks on the Norwegian TOP 20. And it sold to Gold in no time. She's also written 4 of the songs on her album. In 2006 Maria realised the single "Nobody Knows"
and the fans are waiting for the new album. |

Лакселвнес Сенья (Норвегия), но сейчас живет в
столице, Осло. Уже в три года она мечтала стать поп-звездой. Она надевала мамину обувь с каблуками, красилась розовой помадой и пела во весь голос. Ее первое публичное выступление произошло, когда Марие было 5 лет, на концерте ее брата в Ленвиккской музыкальной школе. Она поступила учиться в эту же школу, и училась по классу фортепиано с 1986 по 1994 годы. В ноябре 1991 года она получила роль Энни в одноименном мюзикле, и поскольку шоу проходило в Осло, вынуждена была переехать в этот город. На короткий период она возвращается обратно, чтобы закончить высшую школу, но в возрасте 16 лет окончательно перебирается с семьей в Осло и получает роли уже в несольких мюзиклах. Мария учится в местной высшей школе, музыкальной академии, работает в местном баре, играет в мюзиклах, принимает участие в норвежских телепередачах. Но известность приходит к ней с участием в шоу Норвежский Идол (аналог Народного Артиста). Она попадает в финал шоу, будучи выбранной из 7000 желающих и занимает в нем 6 место. Сразу же после окончания шоу, в 2005 году, выходит ее дебютный альбом "Breathing". Одноименный сингл держится 11 недель в норвежском чарте Топ 20 и получает статус "золотого". Мария сама является автором 4х текстов песен с этого альбома. В 2006 году она выпускает сингл "Nobody Knows" и ее поклонники ждут выхода ее нового альбома. entries have been received by organizers of Norwegian preselection Melody Grand Prix, 34% of
this total came from Norwegian composers, while the rest came from Sweden, Finland,
Denmark, Australia, Israel, UK, Germany, Malta, Poland, Greenland, Iceland, Spain, Ireland
etc. However, NRK has taken late decision to allow only Norwegian composed songs in
preselection. Stian Malme, Head of Melodi Grand Prix at NRK claimed: "We are very
proud and happy to present an all-Norwegian list of composers for Melodi Grand Prix 2008.
It's a well-known fact that we've been working strategically for several years to have
more Norwegian composers participate, and we might have provoked some by including foreign
entries in the national final. As before, we've welcomed both Norwegian and foreign
submissions in this year's competition, but the number of Norwegian entries and their
quality have increased considerably, thus allowing us to present an all-Norwegian
MGP." The top two entries from each semifinal as determined by televote
will proceed to the final at Olso Spektrum. The songs finishing 3rd and 4th will take part
in a second chance round. The compilation
album of selection will be released on January 7th. |

них были поданы норвежскими композиторами,
остальные же поступили из Швеции, Финляндии,
Дании, Австралии, Израиля, Великобритании,
Германии, Мальты, Польши, Гренландии, Исландии,
Испании, Ирландии и др. Однако, в последний момент
организаторы отбора приняли жесткое решение -
допустить до участия только норвежских авторов.
Как заявил глава оргкомитета Стиан Мальме: "Мы
очень рады представить вам список композиторов,
принимающих участие в Melody Grand Prix 2008 и состоящий
целиком из граждан Норвегии. Как известно, на
протяжении нескольких лет нашей целью было
привлечение как можно большего числа норвежских
композиторов к участию в отборе, и мы
провоцировали на это, допуская иностранных
авторов. В этом году мы тоже принимали заявки
из-за рубежа, но количество заявок из Норвегии и
их качество значительно увеличились по
сравнению с прошлым годом, что позволило нам
собрать в отбор только норвежские песни". Две композиции из каждого полуфинала, определенные телеголосованием выйдут в финал в Осло. Песни, занявшие 3е и 4е место в полуфиналах, сразятся в раунде "второй шанс". Официальный диск отбора поступит в продажу 7го января. Прослушать участвующие песни вы можете здесь. |
