Female singer Csezy will represent Hungary at Eurovision 2008 in Belgrade. Her song Szivveres has already been recorded in two version - at the national final ballad version was performed, however her successful same titled album includes uptempo version of the song. You're able to watch recording of broadcast of national preselection here. Сandlelight - is the English title of the entry, which will be performed in Belgrade. The composer of the tune is Viktor Rakonczai; its lyrics were written by Imre Mozsik. Viktor Rakonczai’s name might be familiar for those who have been following the history of Eurovision Contest, as he was one of the singers of boygroup named VIP, which, representing Hungary, had attended the Eurovision Song Contest of Dublin in 1997. At that time they finished the contest at the outstanding 12th position. Now Viktor is eager to return to the stage of Eurovision as a musician, since he will accompany Csezy on piano at the event. MTV Hungary has announced 15 singers to take part in the national selection 2008: EZ ONE, Lola, Zsuzsa Imre, Zsuzsi Vago & Arpad Zsolt Meszaros, Fiesta, Zsuzsa Antal & Fishers Company, DURE, 21 gramm, Gal Csaba Boogie, Candies, Adrien Szekeres, Monika Hoffmann, Orsi Szatmari, Csezy, Orsi Pflum. Participating songs have been chosen by jury, including Malek Miklos, Benko Laszlo, Horgas Eszter and Levai Balazs of 30 submitted entries. National final will take place on 8th of February and will be hosted by Eva Novodomszky and Levente Harsanyi. Official site of preselection will be launched on January 31st.
