The Jet Set - Time To Party

The debut of The Jet Set took place in January 2006. Although, the members of this group come from different countries the first recordings were made in Poland. The music of the Jet Set is an interesting combination of the newest trends and a clash of two music cultures- The East and the West. It's a combination of a splendid voice, youthful energy and talent of 17 year old Sasha who was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and vocals as well as rap performed by David who comes from England. The music of the Jet Set is a mix of R'n'B and rap with elements of pop and dance music. Sasha was born into a family of artists. Sasha's grandfather directed plays, her grandmother was an actress and her parents are opera singers. The first song "How many people" that the young vocalist recorded when she was sixteen became an instant success. The Jet Set took part in the pre- selections for the Eurovision Festival and lost by only one point, the group received an enormous amount of the viewer's votes as well as a high note from the jury. The second song recorded by Sasha "Just call me" was in the final of the Sopot Festival in 2006. It was the first time in the history of this prestigious festival that a song performed by such a young artist gained such recognition - the jury gave a very good note and the song took second place. The premier of the group's first album titled "Just call me" took place at the end of July 2006. The album has the status of a Gold record. David J- has worked with many world- famous artists such as: Bootsy Collins, Mouse T, Missy Elliot and Dante Thomas. Like Sasha, David J (David Junior Serame) comes from a family of artists - his father is a well known artist who performs in musicals all over the world. David is a vocalist and a rapper and he writes lyrics and composes. David grew up on Gospel music, he sang with the Audry Motaung African Heritage Choir for many years and took part in many jazz projects (for example: Ghee Spot, Joy Denalane). David feels most comfortable with soul and R'n'B music. The song 'How many people" quickly reached the highest rotations on the Hit charts in the whole country. From that moment the popularity of TJS has been constantly growing. The second single "Just call me" also became a hit- this song was played by the biggest radio stations in Poland and the music video was very popular. In 2006, The Jet Set took part in many television concerts and played for many thousands of people. "Time to party" is the newest single of the group that also promotes the re -edition of the album "Just call me". The Jet Set concerts bring together thousands of people and they are an unforgettable experience for the fans. During their concerts Sasha and David J perform live with musicians and a dance group. The Jet Set has won the hearts of the Poles. The young artists are getting ready to conquer Europe. The release of the record is planned in many European countries and other parts of the world. Дебютный альбом группы под названием "Just Call Me" увидел свет в конце июля 2006 года. Альбом получил статус "золотого". Давид Джей работал со многими известными артистами - Бутси Коллинс, Мус Ти, Мисси Эллиот и Данте Томасом. Как и Саша Дэвид Джей (Дэвид Джуниор Сераме) родом из семьи артистов - его отец очень известный исполнитель мюзиклов. Сам Дэвид - вокалист и рэппер, который сам пишет тексты и музыку. Дэвид вырос на музыки госпел, он пел с африканским хором Одри Мотаунг в течении длительного времени и принимал участие во многих джазовых проектах. Наиболее удобно себя Дэвид чувствует исполняя музыку в стилях соул и R&B. После участия группы в национальном отборе на Евровидение 2006 года их композиция возглавила хит парады по всей стране. С тех пор популярность группы неизменно растет. Второй сингл "Just Call Me" стал одним из самых ротируемых на радио, также популярностью пользуется и видеоклип на эту песню. В 2006 году The Jet Set приняли участие во многих телевизионных концертах и выступали перед тысячами людей. "Time To Party" - новейший сингл группы, призванный также раскручивать переиздание дебютного альбома группы. Концерты The Jet Set собирают тысячи людей и всегда являются незабываемым впечатлением для поклонников группы. Во время концертов Саша и Дэвид выступают вживую с музыкантами и танцевальной группой. The Jet Set завоевали сердца польских поклонников и теперь готовы покорить Европу. Релиз их конкурсной песни планируется во многих Европейских странах и других частях света.

Polish broadcaster TVP has announced 10 songs that will compete in the national preselection for Eurovision Song Contest in Poland. National final is scheduled for 3rd of February. 5 extra songs were listed as reserves for the case of withdrawing or disqualification of original entries. Duet The Jet Set finished 3rd in 2006 Polish preselection. Mikael Erlandsson took part in Melodifestivalen 2003. Band Charizma is also from Sweden, but well known in Poland too, having ceveral tours in the country. Band Button Hackers won Sopot Fest 2006, while Hania Stach competed in Polish version of Idol. Ania Szarmach's song has already been released on "Sharmi" album. All selected songs are performed in English. The final will be hosted by Paulina Chylewska, Artur Orzech and Michal Figurski. Special guests will be Edyta Gorniak and Wilki. Микаэль Эрландссон принимал участие в шведском отборе 2003 года. Группа Харизма также происходит из Швеции, но достаточно известна в Польше, поскольку неоднократно выступала в этой стране. Группа Button Hackers победила в 2006 году на фестивале в Сопоте, Ханья Сташ принимала участие в местной версии шоу Идол. Песня Ани Шармах уже была издана на альбоме "Sharmi". It is expected that on 23rd of November Polish jury will meet and select from 79 accepted entries (half of which were submitted by foreigners) the participants of the national preselection 2007, while list of finalists is expected to be published next day.	23го ноября ожидается заседание польского жюри, которое отберет из 79 принятых композиций (половина из которых поданы иностранцами) участников национального отбора 2007, опубликование списка финалистов ожидается на следующий день.
