| Monaco Television has finally made the announcement that country
will be represented at Eurovision in Athens by 28 year old Severine Ferrer, who will
perform "La Coco-Dance", a bilingual song (french and tahitien) written by J.
Woodfeel and Iren Bo. For the contest, the choreography will be done by Bruno Vandelli.
The video clip was recorded on March 1st and 2nd. Promo CD will include original track and 4 remixes: 1 : Stumming Mix, 2 : Hypnotic Mix, 3 : Dragon Mix, 4 : K-Raibes Mix Телевидение Монако объявило своего исполнителя на Евровидение 2006.  Severine Ferrer was born on October 31, 1977 in
Montpellier. She spent her youth on the isle of La Reunion, where she quickly gained local
celebrity status. There, she created her first group when she was only 8 years old. At the age of 10, she played the major singing role in a musical and was seen by Michel Drucker and several other French producers. Four years later, one of them invited her to come to Paris. Unfortunately, when she arrived in the French capital, the project was cancelled. Severine finally decided to settle in Paris, took singing lessons and went for many castings. She finally got her chance when she was asked to present ‘Fan de’, a musical show on M6, one of the main French channels. Then she recorded the generic music of the famous TV series ‘Lola, qui es tu Lola?’, shot in Monaco. Severine's voice fits the music perfectly. The CD single ‘Lola’ became a hit. Moreover, ‘Lola’ was the perfect opportunity to meet composers and songwriters who decided to write several songs for her. Finally, her dream became reality and she released her first album ‘Severine Ferrer’. Two CD singles were released from this CD album. Severine's team consisted of Iren Bo as composer and lyricist (who has previously worked with Julie Zenatti, Tina Arena, Patrick Fiori, L5, Jonathan Cerrada), Patrick Hampartzoumian as composer, producer and arranger (having previously worked with Garou, Bananarama, Celine Dion, Florent Pagny, Patrick Fiori, Roc Voisine), Claire Severac, J.C. Collo and E. Andreu. This CD made Severine popular with the French audience. Following the success of the album, Severine started touring France to meet her fans. In 2004 besides she also publishes her first book - autobiographical Des etoiles plein la tete and presents her first line clothing for pregnant women. In 2006, she is realising another long-standing dream – participating in the Eurovision Song Contest! Severine has been chosen to represent Monaco at the 2006 Contest, and will sing ‘La CocoDance’, a summery, happy song that pays homage to the French Polynesian musical culture and traditions. |

Затем, она записывает музыкальную тему для известного сериала "Lola, qui es tu Lola?", который снимался в Монако. Сингл "Лола" сразу же становится хитом. Более того "Лола" стала прекрасной возможностью встретиться с авторами и композиторами, которые решают написать для нее ряд песен. Наконец мечта исполнительницы сбывается и выходит на свет первый альбом "Северин Феррер". Выходят также два сингла. | 11.12 Monaco has selected it's 2006 Eurovision entry. No further details are given besides it is composed by J.Woodfeel. It is believed that some well-known record company is behind this entry. Performer for the song will be chosen as usual during castings which will take place in January in Monaco and Paris. TMC is looking for 6 performers: 5 female and 1 male. French TV and French head of delegation Bruno Berberes are supposed to assist TMC in this search. | Монако отобрало песню для конкурса Евровидение 2006.
